Typical scammer who says he's calling from some bogus police association. The call clearly came from an automated system in a boiler room, as evidenced by the long delay between when I said "hell" and he picked up the phone to try to rip me off.

scam; caller wants money as usual

I got a call at home, but I regularly don't answer calls from numbers I don't know, especially around election time.  My real customers will always leave a message, because they know I'll get back to them right away.  I'm glad I missed this call, though.   Nobody has anything good to say about this number.  and their Caller ID is V10419273500379   .   Doesn't that sound a little fishy?

I get a call from this number, they get to the answering machine, then hang up. Whatever they want it's not important enough to leave a message. To me it seems like some kind of scam. Any legitimate caller will leave a message. Caller ID shows V10319172500376 and what might be the calling number.
