This sounds like a scam.  Recorded message says that they are returning my call about some back brace I requested.  I never requested any such thing.

Called about a back brace that I did not inquire about. Blocked and reported to FTC and FCC.

Its a scam. They got my grandmother and hit her insurances for over a grand plus sent her a bill for over $700. I got the government looking into it. Plus she never got a back brace

How did she pay them?    Contact that source and file a fraudulent use charge.  Depending on the time passed, they may be able to help.

Call from New York, NY. On landline at 12:07 pm. I answered as fraud department- a live male asked me is this Mrs. -- ? I answered back fraud dept., do you wish to turn yourself in? His reply was, " thank you so much " he then hung up.

I hung up because I suspected fraud.

Received a call at 9:24 AM  saying they are returning my call.  They were selling back braces.  I never called them and never picked up.  They left a voice mail.

Same here and I never called about a back brace.

My screen said New York NY. I didn't recognize the number; so I didn't answer.  I came to your site to find that this is a number others have been scammed by.

Called my house 10 times in the past hour, the one time I picked up I asked the person who barely spoke English, who this was, they said "Oh we are".... hang up.

I answered the phone in spanish. They never said a word.  Sounded like a "boiler room" calling in the background.  Blocked them.  3 calls today all different.

We got a call from this number today at 11:26 am and didn't answer. The caller ID was NEW YORK NY. No voicemail message was left. Thanks to all who posted information about this number. It will be added to our call blocker. I highly recommend such a device to avoid these nuisances.

12:58 P.M. on September 10, 2016. I didn't answer, and the caller left no message.

Received a call from this number in the middle of the afternoon.  Caller ID listed "New York, NY."  Left no message.  . . . Now blocked!
