Same routine Call and leave no message Caller ID New York.  What a waste?

Same here. Caller ID UNASSIGNED. In case there's a connection, I'll mention the call came immediately after a call from SURVEY 504-517-1088.

They left a voice mail this time.  Yabba Dabba Doo!  Hung up.  These Dodos are full of doo, you know.

WHAT did the VM say?  Can you give us a hint as to the TYPE of scam they are attempting?

Earlier today I got another 'new' number call from 607-214-5038 'in "Stamford, NY".'  This is the area code for central Upstate NYS, the Syracuse/Cortland/Ithaca area.  We have relatives there.  No one left a message, and when checking the number on 800Notes found out that that one is the "MICROSOFT VIRUS ON YOUR COMPUTER" Scam.

Wondering if this one is that, too.

That number is now blocked, as is this one AND the one we got 18 minutes after this one from "623-300-2531 PHOENIX, AZ."  From the '300' exchange, I'm betting that isn't even a valid #, but haven't looked it up yet.

Scammers like these do not comply with the Do Not Call Registry. Regardless of your political views, these calls have been going on well over 13 years as the Do-Not-Call Implementation Act was signed into law by President George W. Bush in 2003.

Medicare Scam - beware

New York, NY left message:  "Internal Revenue Service , I repeat, this message is intended for you from our Internal Revenue Service. There are legal charges pressed against your name and your state identity is under federal investigation. For farther information information please give us call back on ? Hotline ? 631-808-6011. I repeat it 631-808-6011. Do not try to disregard this message and do return the call as soon as possible brfore any legal allegation takes place. Thank you, have a great day".

they left no message.  I'm kinda bummed because I've never gotten the IRS scam before.

Same message but different #'s & they gave name of Shawn Williams & Shawn Davis #'s are 786-752-4584 & 716-902- 6407. also talked with accent.

Called at 10:17am. Diverted by a service I subscribe to that intercepts robo-dialed calls (rhymes with SoNoHobo).

IRS will never call your house. Hitting our area hard right now scum bags ? If you answer ask for their ID number. Bet they hang up real quick?

I have a Paniasonic Phone, it blocks 250 unwanted phone calls and are codes. I

block all New York  area codes.  They are payday loans, Microsoft, credit card fraud ,

Did you know with your Panasonic phone you can probably block with as little as two digits? Check your owners manual under blocking-range of numbers. With mine, if I block say 64, it will block all numbers starting with 64 (640, 641, 642, 643 and so on). By using that method I have blocked 96% (I did not block a couple area codes-family and friends) of all possible (actual and fictitious) area codes and still have plenty of available blocking spots.

Called a my home business number -so I answered even though I didn't recognize the # -auto voice -this is the call back you requested for more information on medical equipment.  Pushed 2 to remove but got an operator who said it was medical equipment for Medicare only.

Got a call this morning and the robo said it was in response to a request for a back brace. I've lost count on how many spoof numbers they've used over the years. I would really like to get the device mentioned above by Dorse but my carrier doesn't have it available for land lines...at least not yet. I know it's supposed to be free for land lines but since greed rules I'll have to wait and seen how much they end up charging for it.
