Person identified as calling from "the senior care."  I said I wasn't interested and hung up.

Asked if ,..do your knees hurt,...how is your back,..do you need a back brace?   Phishing scam!

Obviously a new number for the senior scam people.  Sad that they do this.  I sure hope most people don't even pick the phone up.

They appear to be targeting seniors and asking "Are you on Medicare?"......Suspect a 'YES' response is all they need to play whatever ill intentioned scheme they are perpetrating...........Be WARY, be CAREFUL and don't respond with YES to anything.......

i have blocked other numbers that say "you can get your knee brace today"....Stop the BS!!!!

Received a call - allegedly from this number (of course it wasn't).  He said his name was "william", with an accent so thick I could hardly understand him.  Long story short, he was hustling "back and knee braces"  at NO cost to me !!  (IF I'm a Medicare recipient).  I told him I've got all the "braces" I need.  He was very polite, and terminated the call.

NEVER NEVER answer any questions to a caller you do not know that calls you - even then it may be a fake call impersonating someone you may know - please be careful seniors - trust no one and always always verify

Answered the phone & the caller hung up after he realized that he had called the PD.

Called shortly after 9:00 am.  Caller ID listed "New York, NY."  Left no message, but the line remained open, so it was easy to hear typical telemarketer background noises.

From the above posts, it appears that this is just another number being used by the Back Brace scammers.  Have gotten calls from them spoofing numbers from all over the country.

Asked for me by name.  Asked if I was on Medicare.  I responded "It is none of your business".  He hung up immediately.

Afraid I said yes but in answering his question about Medicare.  Am I in trouble?

Got tired of these calls, Bought a phone that blocks phone numbers. Happy, happy.

7/13 CID 'New York NY' - several rings, disconnect, no msg - typical scam/robo call pattern - from above posts seems like the old senior medicare, knee brace, say 'yes' scam - recommend block, if possible
