Called at 4:55 AM (Eastern).  Stated that I had a caller and to accept the call press "1".  I pressed "1", but no one came on the line.  This really caught me off guard due to the time of the call and because I have a relative traveling.  I thought that this call was from him.  I will update this post if I have incurred any charges.

called my business at 3:50am EST on a weekend morning, no message but took up about 5 min. voicemail space

12/18 9pm 3 minute empty message on business voicemail :P

12/23 3:23am eastern didn't answer it so I have no idea who it is.Glad I searched here.

Called 10 times in a row. No message. Caller from NY

Called at 3:50 am CST on our cell. Missed it...  They did not leave a message. Determined it was from AT&T Virtual Receptonist/ Ring Central. Confirmed when recieved an email within 5 minutes stating that I had a call to my 888#. Went into the Virtual Receptionist App on my iPhone and there was a message.  Played it, dead air for 5 minutes, then it hanged up. Checked remaining minutes and had lost 5.

Called at 2:30 a.m.  I looked at caller ID and did not answer it.  Glad I didn't, but it was startling.  I thought it might be family needing help or an emergency.

Called Dec 30, 2009 @ 2:46 AM. Did not answer! Woke my wife up, could not go back to sleep, worried it might have been important. Call originated from land line on Manhattan Island in New York from unknown name. Nobody needs this!

This # 646-558-2042 called my phone at 1:40 am on Jan. 1, 2010. Woke us up and didn't leave a message. I pulled the phone plug thinking that they would probably call again and really p*** me off. I thought we all had protection from this sort of thing through the do not call provision. Obviously it's not working with this # originating from New York City. Would be nice if the FCC would locate this culprate and fine them or do something to stop this sort of behaviour since more and more people are being hit with this obvious fraud or prankster. I do have a business and maybe, judging from some of the other comments, we are being targeted for what ever reason, but in any case it is mega annoying. Please FCC, do your thing.

called at 6:40pm -- no one there. I just hung up.

The call came in at 1:55 am broke into my rest and I could not go back to sleep
