I received a call just now from someone named Rickel, who was apparently calling from London (private number) and yes he wanted me to interrupt the doctor.  I told him I could take a message and he said he would hold and I had to repeatedly tell him the doctor does not take calls during appointments.

this man with an indian accent named "Brian"...that was my first clue!  called me at my job asking for a nurse.  I answered the phone and he proceded to ask me if I wanted to make 200 US dollars for looking at something via email and giving my "expert" advice.  I told him I was not interested and he continued to push asking why I wouldnt want to make money.  He said all he needed was my name and email address.  I repeated that I wasnt interested and to get him off the phone I told him that I would call him back if I was interested.  My co worker looked up the number he gave me and it was a cell phone number which was not trackable....probally a scam!

Got a call from thick Indian accented man asking if I was a lacataion consultant and that he had research that he wanted to have me complete for money. He was very pushy and sounded suspicious when he wouldn't email me info or call back and leave a message for me to get back to him later. I just hung up on him and no word since. My gut says SCAM.

I received a call at 7:15 am (PDT) from this number.  I usually don't answer but since someone was still asleep, I didn't want the call to awaken him.  When I said "hello" there was a slight delay then what sounded like an African-American, said 'hello.'  I said quite firmly, "It is 7 am and you are awaking a household.  Don't call her again and take me off your list."  My husband is a retired physician so after reading the above posts, it might be why we received the call.

Another call from them at 8:50 am Monday 5/14. Apparently I'm not "off the list"

"we are leading international online medical panel based in London UK and we are inviting physicians to join us as a panel member we will sent them invitation via email to online studies which the can complete as per their own convenience time and they also entitled honorarium for each study they complete.Their opinion can impact the recent innovation in medical health care  "

It seems to me that if this "leading international online medical panel based in London" were legitimate, they would be consulting the UK's government since their healthcare is run by the government. Not sure why they have a New York phone number if they are based out of London.

I am a dentist from south africa and i got a call from this number at 6pm. I didn't answer,and googled the number!why on earth would aomeone call me from NY USA?must be a scam!

Just recieved a call from this number....saying they were from the "National Project". They guy had a very thick Indian accent, but claimed that his name was Michael Smith. Don't think so! Always be suspicious of "cold calls" like this...don't give them any info.

I received a message from "John Jordan" at my dental office, with an "invitation call".  Glad that I looked at this before I gave this group time I can never get back!  Thanks, but no thanks!

Got called by these jokers today - interrupted me during patient hours --

I received a call from this phone number just now, but rather than answer the phone, I googled the number to see who was calling.  I decided not to answer when I saw all the comments.  Whoever the caller was apparently didn't take the hint that I wasn't going to pick-up.  The phone rang and rang to the point I finally just unplugged it to shut it up.

Glad I googled this before I gave the message to my doctor. When asked to leave a message, the gentleman (with an Indian accent) wanted to give my doctor a "very important invitation to a global conference on Radiologies Medicines" Huh? I don't think so. "Paul" didn't seem pleased when I told him the doc was in a procedure.If you are calling from the UK, why do you have US phone number? Whew, dodged that bullet.

I am a physician in BC Canada. I got a call today at my office number
. My secretary answered but he wanted to talk to me.  It was according to my secretary a man with a thick accent. He left this number to call him back. I researched it on Google and I suspect it might have been an attempt to lure me into a "deal" He asked my secretary if I am a psychiatrist and that he needs an opinion

Please stop calling my office.  Please take my name off of your calling list.

Calling MD office insisting on speaking to MD right away. "Global Physician Project" referred to you by Dr Hursey -- never heard of either.

I am an RN at a medical office.  I received a call from Cooper requesting to speak to my MD right away, regarding a project of a group of doctors.  Thick Indian accent.  Wanted to know when he could call my MD back.  Advised that I would take his number and MD would consider whether he would return the call.  When requested Cooper stated he was in Massachusettes after consulting with someone else.
