Yeah, just had a call from this number. However, they did leave a message regarding my "credit card account", funny thing is I do not have a credit card. How did they get my number?

They called my phone and my phone identified the call as a data transmission call.  It has happened twice in a month

got a call today regarding lowering my interest rate. i let the call go to v/m and heard the message. no mention of any company they are calling from

This is a totatl scam. I actually humored them into thinking that I was remotely interested in what they had to say. Its about reducing credit card finance charge rates down to as low as 6%. So i went along with it and go figure they started asking me for my account numbers hahaha. I told them yeah right i was gonna give them that and then their manager went off on how they assure me they are not shady or a fraudulent company. I asked them to send me paperwork on what they offer since I dont trust random people calling me asking for my account numbers and the idiot on the other end tried explaining that I was protected from fraud anyway so it wouldnt matter. LOL. When I finally asked what the name of his organization was he hung up... I wish I could find this person and carve my bank account number into his eyeballs with a rusty screwdriver.

Called a private cell in Michigan, mid-day.  Auto-dialer identifying itself as "Cardholder Services" suggesting (but carefully avoiding ~saying~) that they have something to do with my credit cards.  Extremely misleading language, which is used by many of these [***] artists.  I pressed #1 to talk to a rep, and asked for my number to be removed.  He insultingly replied that I should have pressed #2, because they had nothing to do with removing numbers -- and hung up on me.
