There's a man texting me from this # talking about he's interested in buying a car that I'm selling on Craigslist. But the scam through PayPal is that he cant retrieve his $$ for the moving company until I dish out $650 to Western Union. That's when PayPal will release the $$. Well because of my intelligence, I did sum digging & found out that's not the way PayPal conducts business. I'm waiting on him to reply or email me back, because I sent him an unpleasant response today, 12-16-12, and I also let him know that I joined forces with the FBI in my city to stop scammers like him. Let's see if he responds again. Because, I'm pretty sure he thinks, he has a victim.

Same situation as above. Person texted me about an ad I had on local classifieds for a vehicle I have for sale. Said it was a gift for his son. Because I know that people frequently scam I sent an invoice from PayPal instead of letting him send me the money. I know it's a scam but I am interested to see if he responds to the invoice which should not allow him to go about the usual manner. I imagine he will send his fake email that is supposedly from PayPal (I've seen these before and interestingly enough for all the effort they go through typically these emails look really good but contains spelling errors and things which is amazing that they would go to such effort but missed such small things that you know PayPal wouldn't).

Will see what happens and I'll update my comments but if he responds to my invoice and doesn't request that he send it to my account. That makes it much easier to scam.....
