This is the number given for a total SCAM ---   basically:  Officer _ _ _ _ Smith of the US Treasury Department, stating that there was a legal case filed against our name. The message continued to say that there is a legal petition notice concerning a tax filed against you, and to call this number "646-580-1913" before you get arrested.   I recommend you report the scam officially to the US TREASURY SCAM website:   https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml

Said that he's from the US Government, and that I won $9,000 for paying taxes on time. (Yeah, sure).
I could get the money by giving them my credit card info, bank info, or from the Western Union. Of course I need to call this number first. I'd have to talk to a guy, wire them some small fee amount, and then I'd get my money. Sure. SCAM people! Beware.

I got a call from 6465830336 saying I won a $9000 grant and all I had to do was pay them $250 it was a scam just thought I would share this information with everyone so that no one falls for it

The government doesn't just randomly give money away. You have to apply for grants, not just hope someone selects your name out of a hat to give you one. And you certainly don't have to pay money to get money. This is a scam and those claiming otherwise are shills who work for the scammers.

Ya I just got call from the grant thing too. Thought I would run the number through Google first. Just as I suspected, scam.
