Most likely SPAM / Fraud.

I received the same text message shortly after posting my ad on Kijiji.
They wanted my paypal account email address and once I noted that I would prefer cash or certified cheque, no further texts came through.  I agree - FRAUD!

Same thing here.  This is definitely not right.  My car ad was only up a couple hours and this guy wants to buy it and wants my pay pal info.

Seems like to fraud to me, this guy wanted to buy my car for full asking price without even seeing pictures or anything, really seems like fraud to me since we are in different countries and 4000km apart.

I just sent him a message asking why he wanted to buy a car so far away to see what he says since I am pretty sure it would be cheaper to buy a local car. he claimed he loved the car and that canada is his country just had to move to the us for work, not making much sence to me, pretty sure he is fraud or a scammer of some sort.
