Not sure how they got my number, saying that it is a time sensitve said his name is Paul Smith but he is not from USA he is from some  other country. Says the police are coming to get me and I will have to go to court so I better pay up now, when the number showed up it was 0000000 but he left a number 646-580-3624. THis is not the first time I have gotten a call like this. It has been some time, again I better pay thousands of dollars to stop the police coming to get me.  How can I get these to stop it is very upsetting at times.  Or how can I turn this in

Okay, these people keep calling with threats.  First off if you are calling from NY, NY which is in america how about you speak english, second of all you will not get any information from me, you apparently have it all already so have me arrested,

Received this call today about the police coming to get me and i need to have my attorney call right away asked what this was in reference to and he said if i give him my social he will tell me, sorry my attorney that i do not have will call you. these calls need to stop

Just got a message from a "Jeff Peterson" who could barely speak English. Found this site. I will pass this on to the attorney general from NY. Maybe it will work. A friend of mine who is an attorney said don't give out any information over the phone. Get it in writing. If they refuse, it's a scam.

Same calls as others have reported. I called them back and advised them that they were not the first people to try this scam on me. The person on the other end pretended to not be able to hear me and hung up. All attempts to call back went straight to voicemail for some strange reason. LOL!

If they were legit, they would answer the phone. Obviously, they aren't.

Yes, I also received the same call from the same number and he left a message at my place of work and tried calling my cell phone -- He identified himself as "Eric Schmidtz" with an Indian (hindu) accent.  He stated that I better returned the call or else and if I did not return the call that all he can say is "Good Luck".  I am trying to get them to stop calling as I have no international businesses and I have not idea what this is about and they are now harassing me at Work I

This person Benjamin something, can't understand him, keeps calling.  They are harrassing me at work, saying I took out a pay day loan (which I've never done) and didn't pay it back.  They are going to file Federal charges against me, and someone is coming to arrest me at my work.  Now that I'm reading the others, I'm realizing these people are complete scam artists who are now affecting my work life by calling me at work.

Same thing as the rest, Jeff Peterson last week and Oscar somebody today.  Heavy Indian Accent and saying is going to have me arrested in the morning.  Gave me address of a house on West Broadway as the address for the company.  Totally bogus bunch...have reported them to Atty General, say there is nothing they can do, especially when Vonage and the other computer companies allow you to set up accounts with area codes outside of their own...OY!

I have received numerous phone calls from them also with the same message as everyone else. It is not the first time I get these phone calls.  I reported the last number to the attorney general.  I am a legal secretary and that is what my boss told me to do.  So for all of you who are getting these phone calls, report them to the attorney general.  I called them back and told them that I had reported them to the attorney general and some guy with an indian accent replied "have a good day" and hung up.  It is very upsetting.

Say that I owe $5400.00, for a loan of $1595.00 online payday loan.   When she called back and I said that "Nea Welch" was not here, she asked to speak to my supervisor, which just happened to be at lunch, and she said will you please have her supervisor call me because it is serious and Nea is going to be arrested at work tomorrow.  Glad I looked up this number because now I know its a SCAM!!!!!  I am calling the police to report this.

A Shawn Parker called me at work today then again on my cell phone.  the number is showing up as 0000 he said that I had taken out a pay day loan with Cash Partners of America, which I have not, I told him that I had not taken out a loan, he insisted that I had, I told him that my attorney would be contacting him, and that he was to stop calling that I was reporting him to the FBI and he didn't care, he stated that I would have legal papers sent to me tomorry at 11:00 he refuesed to give me a case number, when I started asking more questions he got flustered.  this is a SCAM do not give them any personal informatin

Got this message today at work and on my cell.
He called my cell four times in a row.
Heavy accent.
My boss told them not to call anymore.

I'm sure they will.

I recieved a harrassing call from a Shawn Parker, he had my work, home address an old e-mail address I had and stated I had taken out a payday loan from cash partners.  Had never done such a thing. Wanted $1095 today or I was going to be served papers at my work and home and my employer would also be served papers. I would also owe over $5,000 if I got served.  They are coming to my work and my house at 11:00 on Monday morning.  Good luck and God bless.  They told me.

same thing happened to me. kept calling about a payday loan and taking me to court. the guys name was tony halmeyda, transfered me to nicole allen. wanted $1095 dollars today, or else $5000. tried to get it out of my bank account. had to cancel the account. please do not give into it!!!!!! called them back and told them i was recording the conversation. they hung up.

This is just another scam originating out of India.  I fell for it once.  Reported it to the police, FBI, Attorney General of my state and the FTC.  Each of them told me these calls were scams either to shake the person down for money or trick them out of their personal information.  Do not answer the phone if you do not recognize the number.  Report them to the agencies listed above.  These people are pond scum and it's not worth it to engage them.  My suggestion would be, if you decide to answer the phone, blow an air horn in their ear!!!

just got a call from a female who did not speak english very good.from  Nicole Allen she works for a company called dept corp affairs law based out of new york city. the number she gave is 646-580-3624 was wanting me to verify my ss# and bank account i asked her who she was working for she said it was for a payday company called cash partners america. She could not tell me when i got this loan, all she could say is that i owe 5,000 dollars for what i don't know. The fact that she called my place of employment was unacceptable. She than asked me again to verify my ss# and bank account number when i refused she told me to hire an lawyer and she was sending cops to my door to have me arrested. I called the number back and asked for the details of this company and a man kept telling me that they were located at 42 broadway, New York, NY. I looked up that address and could not find the law office they were calling on behalf of.

Got a call from 646-580-3624 the guy said his name was tony almeiza and said they had an urgent legal matter to talk with me is what they told my secretary when I used the other line phone line in my office they ignore the call it went to a voice mail, I also called them from my cell phone but I used *67 so I come up as unknown and again they ignore the call. I called them from line one at the office which is the number they have to get a hold of me, they answered right away, if they are really an attorneys office they would have more than one phone they are just trying to hurt hard working people struggling in this economy

Rec'd a voice mail message from this clown.  Stated his name is "Officer Erik Smith".  He shouted and yelled very loudly.  Demanding I return his call.  Stated the issue at hand is time sensitive.  Caller ID showed a 6 digit phone number, but he told me to call him back at this number.  He had a very thick India accent.  He then called back about 5 minutes later, leaving another shouted message, only told me to call back at 718-841-6477.  This guy is a scammer and it will be a cold day in he!! before I call him back.

I am an employer and just got almost the same message on one of my staff.  I tried to return the call to inform HER that if she continues to harass this person at work, she will need an attorney.  Sure prosecution isn't an option since they sounded foreign.
