Recieved text messages from this number wanting to buy something I had for sale on Craigslist.  I'm located in Richmond,VA.  Basically the normal, I'll send you an extra $500 bucks thru Paypal for your troubles scam.  When I texted whoever this number belongs to and told them that "Yea New York is a little out of town from Richmond,VA" and I followed it with "More specifically Manhattan"  I haven't heard back from this number.

Got a call from this number 646-580-8271 this afternoon (8/2/2012).  Male voice with middle east type accent.  Left a message and said we "won" a lottery of $1.2mm and a 2011' Mercedes!  Obviously we did not return the call.  The message was left on a cell phone, and further the caller new in what state we lived.  Watch out everyone!

This person did the same craigslist stunt as stated above but this guy has been persistent. I told them local only and they refuse to take that for an answer.

Same guy contacted me , same number posted here (646)-580-8271 and again with another number (646)-580-4873 And with a different excuse for not being in the City for a craigslist purchase but i did'nt buy the paypal crap. i told him k then send one of ur kin's over so they buy the item, or send them the money so they can pik it up because it a local sale only other than i can't help you. this is scam i had a bad feelin about it so i followed my intution to avoid me the headache's then i ignored him Careful ppl when ur guts says no then its no we have to listen...i can smell a rat 1000 miles away and this one is in NY
