I just posted an ad on Kijiji selling my car last night, and received 2 texts from 646 numbers this morning! I didn't know what area code it was so I Googled it and came across this site. As soon as I said it was a Lease takeover the other number quit texting, but this one kept going! Said he was interested, and okay with the conditions and the asking price but that he would be unavailable for pick up so he would be arranging pick up through a delivery service. He also stated that he was moving a few things from my province so he wanted to have everything picked up at once so as to avoid a delay in pick up. Said he would be paying me through HSBC Bank. Something was fishy when I noticed that Province was spelt wrong.

I had the exact same thing happen to me this morning.  I received the email but had no done anything with it I just placed it in trash.  Did you happen to contact anyone regarding this?

This same number wants to buy my boat engine and want delivery service to pick it up . Wants to pay through Paypal. Glad I read that's other unsuspecting posts.
What some people will do is unbelievable!

Just received the same text. Glad to know its a scam.
