Just says good by on recorder

The caller from this number was someone with a deep accent claiming to be from the "IRS tax crimes unit" and advising that we "leave all our work aside" upon receiving the message and immediately contact them back at this number for "no income tax papers".  LOL - seriously?!  Give me a break - we weren't born yesterday.

The IRS do not call you.  They will contact you by mail.  Just ignore.  (It is probably an attempt to get your personal information.)

I got the exact same message. I agree, seriously? Who from the IRS ends by saying, "Have a blessed day"?

This number called me and said about this claim who do I contact someone about this

Same exact experience except they have been leaving messages for months now.. IRS Crime unit  bs  I called the guy back and pretended to not know of the scam and then let him have it. After some serious cursing  I threatened to call the police and he hung up

I just got an Readable Voicemail and had to Google the number. Didn't read the "Have a blessed day" part until I read your post here. Thanks for making me look Kate. Definately a dead give away to a scam call.

We received the same phone scam call...  IRS Tax Crimes Unit...  I am still waiting on the police to come arrest me that the guy told me would be here in 15 minutes...
