646 583 0725 PHISHING SCAM !!! Claiming to be an officer from the IRS who is supposedly filing a lawsuit against me.  caller id says unknown name and number.  This is not an IRS number or how the IRS operates.

would love to speak to these scammers.  IRS, LOL.

SCAM: I received a call stating the caller was from the IRS.  They claim the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me.  Not an IRS number.  Call came up as "UNKNOWN" on caller ID

I just got the same call....automated call saying IRS is filing a law suit......

Some kind of scam.  I keep calling the number (for free via Google Voice) and keep getting someone with an Indian accent.  I just keep talking to them, wasting their time until they realize that I know they are scammers, when they finally hang up.

Caller (recorded message) advised IRS is filing a Law Suit against me and to call 646-583-0725. I don't think this is the way IRS works. It is some kind of Prank Call from what I can tell.

Message recording says IRS, with a questionable way of using English, completely impersonal use of "you." Claim to have filed lawsuit but the real IRS sends letters. This is old style scamming. Disgusting. These people should be caught. They add nothing to the common good. Tired of evil people.

Same IRS as everyone else is describing, except this one uses a computer-generated voice.

Yes, the IRS number 646 583 0725 left a message that the IRS filed a law suit against me and this is my final notice.
the message said they had been trying to contact me and that is not true.

Beware off this scam Google IRS phone scams and look it up on line they will say final notice a law suit that I am going to jail ask if I had a lawyer read me fake chrages wanted 5 k$ and I didn't pay the cops will be at my door in 1 hour red flags, this must think people are dumm only older people might fall for this just they try bully people into paying them it is a call center. Report them 1800 366 4484 or call the FBI or cops even post it on face book so others do not fall for this type off scam

The IRS will never call  so if u got a call you will better knowing it was just. Scam by the Pakistans . Fight Back vs the scammers waste there time anything helps.

Must be a scam, this  filing law suit and final notice is a a Scare technique.   You would get a mailing, not a phone call if the IRS was looking for you.

Indian or Pakistani. Claiming to be from the IRS. Stated I owed them money. I told him I would have sex with his sister and then eat his sacred cow.

11/18/15 Received this call on my home phone stating the same thing as Matthew Leddy reported on his comment. It is a scam. The number never picks up it hangs up on you.

I received an automated call to my place of business claiming to be an IRS agent filed a law suit against me and this is my final notice. the message said they had been trying to contact me.
The phone number this originated from is 213-141-5163, caller ID shows "No Name Found"

Same as others.  Recorded message. Final notice regarding a law suit by the IRS and that I must call the number back immediately.  I'm filling this with the FBI and FCC.  Who knows, could be terrorists trying to raise money

Got caught by these scammers too! They had me drive to my bank to get money out; luckily I didn't have enough in my account to give them! Get these [***]!

Male voice recording stating "This is officer from Internal Revenue Services, we have been trying to reach you.  This call is an official final notice call from Internal Revenue Services.  The reason of the call is to inform you that  IRS has filed a law suit against you. For more information call immediately our IRS department number 646-583-0725. I repeat 646-583-0725."

I just got this same call and he said that he'll be sending the police to my house within 45 minutes with an arrest warrant to take me to jail. I informed him that he is committing fraud and that I will gladly hire an attorney since my father is a District Attorney and he hung up. Caller ID came up as 213-141-5163 but the voicemail said to call 646-583-0725 and the guy had a Jamaican accent.
