promised a 5000 instalemt loan. they provided funds fot me to purchase i-tune cards. after giving them on line banking info they ssid money would be in my acct next business day, never deposited, not certain how they r going to get money from me, but i am certsin they will try. my bank put a hard hold on my accts to stop any w/d

I received the following text from 646 657-1489:
Dear customer,
Congratulations your loan application approve threw our company between $3000 to $10,000 with flat 10% interest rate. So if you are interested for this loan please call me back at 646-657-1489.
Thank you.

I've dealt with "lenders" like this before and the first red flag was the misspelling of through. I googled the number and found that I'm not the only one. I've had several calls from New York numbers telling me that I am eligible for a federal grant. All I have to do is buy $200 worth of iTunes gift cards and I will receive my money via cashiers check. I have learned to ask for the name of the bank that the check is drawn from and when I search it, it is a fictious bank.

I just received the same text but said anywhere from $2000 - $10000 but they did spell " through" right this time! LOL! Something told me to check the number first of all and secondly, I didn't apply for no damn loan! He had my name on some list which I told him after he asked if I was me. I told him names are sold all the time and that I didn't apply for a loan. He said the company was called Cash Advance America
