Called left no message probably some [***] trying to sell something.. Showed up on Caller ID as Fifth Manhattan.

This is Fifth Manhattan, a credit card processing company calling to offer their processing services.

Answered the line as I was expecting call. Person asked to "speak with the owner or person who handles merchant accounts." I said "who is this?" She said "this is Carol. Are you the owner?" She then asked if we take Visa or MasterCard. I said,"Since you won't tell me who you are, I don't think what we do is any of your business." And I hung up on her.

I'm guessing some kind of credit card scam.

Offering Refunds On Behalf Of Visa And Mastercard..... Said Due To Dodd-Frank Act, I Was Over Charged On My Companies Credit Card Processing......
I Told Him I Wasn't Interested And He Was Polite And Hung Up....

Honestly, I'm Not Sure But I Think It's Just Trying To Switch You To Their Processing Company.... I Could Be Wrong, But I Think If Visa And/Or Mastercard Was Refunding People - They Wouldn't Be Calling From Another Processor..... You Would Have To Know You Were Overcharged And Call Them - OR - Your Refund Would Just Show Up With Whatever Processor You Were Using.......

SO - No Matter What - I Got The Impression This "Fifth Manhattan Processing Company" Would Say ANYTHING To Convince The Rubes To Switch To Them.....  (Side Note - What Does Dodd-Frank Have To Do With Credit Card Processing Rates Anyway ? ? I Wonder......)
