- Lucy"Megan" keeps calling me asking for my boss, by his first name, as if she knows him. Asks numerous times for his cell, which I refuse to give. Megan now calls our receptionist, trying to weasel the information. Wish I knew how to put a stop to these calls! She will not give the reason for the call. Only answer I ever got from "Megan" was they are a broker, and calling about a business opportunity.

- LAMET replies to MichiganderIf he is selling stocks - the SEC (securites and Exchange Commission) Its a government agency so just goolge it. Also the FTC and YOUR STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL
- liana mclaughlinThis person called this morning, no NY accent, and asked for my husband. When I asked who he was, he said "Andrew Goudy". He was very polite on the phone and I gave him my husband's cell phone number since I'm divorcing him anyway. Before he hung up, he started talking very sexual.
- CharlesWe get a call about every day from this number asking for owner of the company. Never willing to leave a message. Hangs up when you ask if you could take a message.
- hankThis guy has called our business about 10 times...I have answered each of those times and he asks for my dad. I say: "I'm sorry, he's not here right now, can I take a message," and before I can even finish he hangs up. The same every time. What a [***]. How can we punish this mule?
- Atlanta replies to Bull BearExact same MO for me. He is a little prick. NY accent, do you remember talking with me, how much do you have? Save yourself the frustration and just hang up on this little prick.
- SwampSame MO here, he is a little prick. Wants to know how much money you have. FCC does nothing to stop these unsolicited calls
- AnonymI answered the phone today from this number but didn't say anything. Apparently, they didn't realize that their call had made a connection so I was able to listen to them call me a "f@cker" and other names. I hung up and attempted to call back but my call went unanswered.
- Hendersen replies to JoeOn a whim, I called (*67 of course) 1-646-708-9601 (business usually block a few numbers - so just add one digit). I got the Andrew Garrett voicemail, and pressed "0" for the operator. Guess what? I heard the same noise in the background. These (seem to be) your perpetrators!
- about2btheirworsnightmare| 1 replyYep, it woudl appear the market is about to take a serious tank again when these guys begin their ritual list callings.
I hate to admit I was far naive last year, invested in many of these smae guys Dow / NASDAC stock.
TOday, I receivered the same call same number, now I know the markets are turnign south when they call. Talking with other folks, I am not the only one from the midwest business arena's that has gotten taken on these stock purchase calls. To me, a very expensive short term college education on how not to ever invest in boiler room market brokers. cost me a ton, I have serious PB issues with many now as my life has taken a serious life altering experience whiel thes guys took full advantage fo my position and hope to slightly proper enough to help things...NOT HOW THEY THINK FOLKS.. DO NOT INVEST A DIME WITH THEM, GO FIND A LOCAL BROKER OR GO ONLINE TO A KNOWN QUALITY BROKER SITE. If your want to be brave and play their games, waste their time and dime and tell them to overnight the info package to you, give them the address of your worst enemy of politician...make sure they give you all their contact info, report them to the SEC/FTC /AGO...so far, I've made a little money back after losing my family, business and home by allowing them to talk their speal and instantlyh placing trades online against that stock that it will drop bottom out. I am squaring off to push a massive hit on their game and will be guito meets real cowboy maverick either in market or person...btw, they get their lists from the USG of donotcall list...now isn't that something...I never got these calls when Bush was in office, maybe this has something to do with Obamas democratic call for equalizing americas wealth. Next thing you know, I'll see my homeless buddy driving a beamer by a simple $100 stock placement...I really dont think that si the motive here folks..these guys are slamming america..and I dont come from either party...- Caller: National Security Advisors Investments
- Paul SimmsThis [***] calls and calls and calls. People should start calling him and hang up on him - repeatedly....
- Call type: Telemarketer
- AQ replies to about2btheirworsnightmarehow about just sticking to the specifics of the call instead of blaming the president on your personal problems - accept your own responsibilities and stupidity
- AnonymI got a call today from 646-798-9600. The man indentified himself as being a broker with Andrew Garrett, a stock brokerage firm that I've never heard of before. He claimed we had spoken before but when I told him I don't remember him he said "I must not have left a good impression" LOL The guy was pitching DCTH a NASDAQ listed medical device company currently trading for $8.80 per share. He said if I bought 10,000 shares I would make $80,000 to $100,000 before the end of this year LOL. I told him that I wasn't interested and he was wasting his time and then I hung up on him.
This could be a scam so be careful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- Caller: Andrew Garrett

- Answer ManCompany is in Manhattan, called Andrew Garrett.
- Mike KelleyI've started something new. I tell these callers "He's relocated and give the number of the local jail."
Even got a call back saying that I must have given the wrong number. My next line was that I was relocated by the authorities. If they're wasting my time I'll waste theirs.
When you're a small business in these times you've gotta look for entertainment where it's provided.
Okay a few people who come into the office wonder why I have the number of the three local county jails on the wall in large type, I explain and give them a copy.
Okay some clerk or desk sergeant is going to get mad but maybe they'll see the joke in it.- Caller: Tom Callaway
