Robocall at 1227PM Saturday. Caller ID said New York New York. Recorded female voice with a foreign accent said there had been a $77.99 gift card purchased on my Amazon account. To cancel this payment I need to call 164-671-2940 ext 8. I believe that 164 goes to Punjab India.

Caller id came as spam?. Sure is. From amazon regarding purchase of a $77.99 gift card. Call this phone # to cancel purchase. All they want is to get your credit card number. I have never received a call from amazon regarding a purchase.

Beginning of message cut off, Robo voice started talking before message started recording;  ..."on your Amazon account, in order to cancel this purchase dial 1-646-712-9408".  I have no Amazon account and have not made any online purchases.  BEWARE, definitely a scam!

I think same as "bigtex," above, except that part of the message was cut off.  The message sounded like a warning to call them or suffer the annoyance of having someone else charging my credit card. I decided it was spam and ignored it.  Added to my call blocker.

I forgot to mention that my caller ID also showed "New York, NY," same as "bigtex."

So your banking detailes are false????  Why are you even dealing with an American bank?
