I received the same massage today and I gat a head ache listen to this women Officer jessica Roland People get life!!!

I also received a message on my answering machine from the same woman who sounded treating for me and my wife. Somebody should stop these people.

    Yep.  I just got the same message from the same number.  Loved the "professional" wording when she said that if she didn't hear from me or my attorney, all she could offer me was "good luck"...  Bahahahaha!  Loved that part.  Sounds just like the IRS - - not.
    I have every intention of calling the IRS in the morning and reporting.  Only problem is, ... they might hire her!

Recieved a message from officer Jessica Roland of internal revenue on 10/27/14.  Telling me or my lawyer to call back. I see from the other post that this is a fraud.  I have the number blocked now.

Same msg as JM on 10/27-14. Indiana.

Received a call from 646-712-9761 stating they were from the IRS.  Called the number back and they answered as the IRS.  When I asked where they were from they stated Washington DC.  All who answered had very heavy accents.  The number for the IRS starts with 212...not 646.  If you get a call from this number it is a hoax!!!

Same as everybody else, woman with a heavy accent claiming to be from the IRS.

I also received the same phone call and they called my work phone!  Does anyone know how we can report this "Jessica Roland" person?  She obviously should be stopped!! Said she was from IRS according to the person who took my call.

Got the same call today from the very same person. She said either my attorney or I needed to call her back immediately or else. I called back and she did not answer. I got another Middle Eastern accented man who asked my name. I told him and then he wanted my phone number. I said you should know that if you are really from the IRS. After that, they hung up on me.
Be aware- I already know their scam- they are trying to scare you into thinking you owe something to the IRS (likely hundreds or thousands of dollars), then they take your money and run. Also, interesting that their caller Id comes up as Name Unavailable. (I wonder why???!!!) Here's a big hint it's a scam: 1. The IRS doesn't call people and threaten them., and, 2. If they were really from the IRS, wouldn't you receive something in the mail first about it?, and , 3. If the IRS were to call, they would probably show up on someone's caller id as Internal Revenue Service.

Next time they call, tell them to F@## off and burn in hell cause that's where people like them go (express ticket to Hell). They are nothing but liars and thieves. I don't know how they sleep at night!!!!

Anyone who gets a call from them- this is fake. It is most definitely a scam. They called me with the same story as everyone else here posted on this site. I called the local police and got information on the IRS and how to contact them directly. I suggest that anyone who gets these calls to go to the IRS website- www.irs.gov and report them under phishing scams. There is information on how to either leave a message with your complaint, or how to write them or send a fax explaining what happened during the call you received.

received a call today from Ofcr. Jessica Roland, altho she had a more mid Eastern accent (Lebanon)?...not a heavy Indian (I'm familiar with Indian accent).  She stated a name that was not mine...and she was from the IRS. I don't have ID caller on my phone for purposes like this, telemarketers, etc.  so I don't answer unless I hear a familiar voice on the message. It helps not to answer from unknown numbers until you hear the voice on legitimate call.

These people are scum, I called them back an told them I don't believe your the IRS since you can hardly speak English, second IRS does not call, and third IRS would be local inquiry.  Called back and had friend that is a lawyer say he was calling and the guy hung up.  We called him repeatedly for the next hour to try and stop them from doing this.  Received a call on my phone later from a number not available and they left inadvertent message with a voice saying something to another person in the room before hanging up with similar voice.

Call from Detective Jessica (heavy foreign accent) telling me to either call her back or have my attorney call her back...have gotten 3 calls from her in last few days. When I called *60 to block number 646-712-9761, the number repeated back to me was: 212-662-1393 which I recognize as correct area code for NY. I also did a "Reverse Phone Number" check and found out that the service provider is Nextel Communications Inc....I hope these scam artists get their day in court!
