Voice mail picked up call. recording said please hold for important message. heard what appeared to be call center in background.

Nobody here is calling you.   Call blocker is your best bet.

It's that time of year again in the run up to the New York primary.  I figured that these calls related to that.  I'm getting them at least twice a day now, and I'm sure will get more as we get closer to the primary date, which is September 9th.  So expect another couple weeks of it!

My caller ID only IDs the phone number.  Get calls two to three times a day.  I don't pick up.  No one leaves a message.  A robocall.

After several days of 3-5 calls a day I finally answered.  Woman id'ed herself as "Sarah".  Told her "Stop calling me! I don't care who you are or what you want or what kind of scam you're pulling; you've been calling me all day and I want you to stop!"  Her voice dropped several octaves (it was cheery and lilting up to now) and she said (slowly) "I ... was... calling.. about ... Governor .. Andrew ... Cuomo  ... who ...is ...running ... for ...re-election ..."  "Good for him!  And stop calling me!"  "Ohhhh...Kay...thank you for your time"     That did it!! I'm voting for Zephyr Teachout.

Said was calling for Gov Cuomo. I said "No way I'm going to vote for that guy again!" and hung up.

He's disappointed in so many ways. Not a liberal. Fighting marijuana. Allows political corruption. The son is not as good as the father.

No kidding, they called about 6 times until 7:20 at night...that call had background noise....No messages left any time.
