Called stating they were from Crime Investgato on Unit from the IRS and that if I or my attorney does no call back then they wish me luck as something very bad unfolds for me.

They left a voice mail with that message. I don't know that their phone carrier is verizon that is mine.

Just received same voice mail...

It's cr. Depart. Hung on him waited call them told I be arrested.  

Received a recorded message that I listened to....from 646-757-1654. They indicated that they are the FBI and I must call back.
If I did not call back, the message said, " wish you good luck on what would befall me".

Really do not think the FBI or IRS leave messages with such a good luck message...
The man's voice was that of an East Indian accent.

I worry about the older population who may just call back!!!
They could be your little old mother!

Please pass the word.

I called our local police and they confirmed that there is a scam for both the FBI and the IRS with this
Phone number.

The police did not want the phone number.
So how are they going to identify the # and where the calls are coming from????

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

I just got the same thing saying they are from the IRS.  It sounded so fake.  I am sure if I was in trouble I would have received mail from the IRS.

Long message from caller with accent.  Most of it was garbled so really couldn't tell except it was an investigation and at the end was "if I don't call back within 45 minutes, I will be charged."
