These people have been harassing me saying that i'm a reference on a pay day loan and that they're pursuing legal actions against me.  The gentleman referred to himself as an officer.  I know nothing of this and want it to STOP!!!!!!!!!

I got a call today from a man named officer brown also. He told me that I had a payday loan that I never paid out from Cash Advance Us. I asked him for the contact information, becuase I never took out a loan online, and he refused to give it to me. He told me that he had an afidavid with my name and all of my information. Go for it buddy I will be waiting.  SCAM watch out.....

I received the same type of call.  I asked for the contact information and I was told I should have it.  He informed me that I would be in jail for 3 to 6 months.  SCAM

Contact the Better Business Bureau - this is a scam.  They try to frighten you by harassing you and yelling while not allowing you to speak.  They think if they threaten to arrest you they'll get you to pay them something.

They get your info, and they have most of it, from some of the online payday loan applications or companies, even if you've never taken a loan.  Again, the BBB is investigating.  They told me the best thing to do is to tell them to mail something to your home and you'll have the police department review it.

P.s. Unfortunately, some people have been frightened into wiring them money.  What a sick world this is.
