Awful new approach to an old scam. They send out a ridiculous looking & sounding mass e-mail stating that there is an "Urgent matter -- DO NOT IGNORE...Court Action Will Be The Consequences". I advise not opening the attachment of the "approval letter". Instead, we called. when you call the number on the e-mail, you reach some collections department. It's extremely garbled & hard to understand, but we think it's "ACS Collections Dept". The call reception is so horrible that this totally gives away the scam -- And we called several times just to make sure it wasn't just a bad connection. Supposedly, they are located in "New York, America". Supposedly, you owe money to one of several hundred payday loan companies that the rep rattles off. Supposedly they have made numerous attempts to contact you. Supposedly, you will be taken to court if you do not handle this "outside of your courthouse". Wow, guys...Can you sound any more phony? Horrible attempt....Go back to the drawing board/lab with this crap.
