how do you know its a scam, i just got a call from them

Considering the dearth of information by the first two posters, I would have to tell you to error on the side of caution.

I always thought that Coke was the real thing? Could all those TV ad's be wrong? Please don't tell me all those kids singing on a mountain top were fibbing. - - -  Is your call a scam? Go with 'yes' until otherwise proven 'no'.

I just received a phone call from them. They offered me a job interview, and in addition they said I need to bring $50 with me on the interview for the food consulting license just in case I got accepted. I am wonder if it is a reliable process, and does anyone else have the same situation as me? Thank you so much

They called me asking if I'm still interested in the position of a server. I never applied there however my resume is on indeed.com. They told me to bring $60 for the food handler license is I get the job, I would pay for that . The license is usually about 7-24 based on the research I did online The number was 646-461-6448 from Samantha. She also said that was her cell phone however when I called I was told she was on a call she will call me back,,,Idk. My interview is this morning but I'm not sure

A woman called me with a thick accent . She called from her cellphone and told me to come Tuesday with $80 dollars for a food servers license. I called the BBB and they said no company names PGO Consultant Company doesn't exist !

Alice called from 646-343-9018. Set up an interview with a woman name Diella. Told me to bring 2 forms of ID and $80 for a food handlers licence, which was required before being hired. I found this suspicious so I called Alice to cancel the interview. I was sent to voicemail and the mailbox was always full. After 3 hours I finally get through. Immediately I recognized Alice voice but I still asked to speak to her. She said who's speaking and I pretended I didn't hear her. So I asked again, "hello may I speak to Alice. She said, Alice is not here, she's on another call". Lol. I said which one is it? She's not there or she's on another call? She's on another call, how can I help you?. I see the bs but ok, I tell her my name told her I'd like to reschedule my interview and I have the $80. She asked, Do you still have the address I gave you? In my mind I'm like WHAT [***]? I said, the address you gave me yesterday? She said yes. I said, 132 WEST 34TH STREET, BETWEEN 6TH AND 7TH AVE, 15TH FLOOR. She said yes that's it. I said so SO YOU'RE ALICE! She said yes! I said, so why did you tell me Alice is not here, Alice isvon another call and all this [***]! Alice if you and your people are scamming people, you [***] with the wrong [***]! You didn't get my money but I'm going to get yours. I'm coming for that ass with handcuffs, tell your friends about me! Then I hung up on her, googled the company and found this blog. I'm going to expose this company. They need to be fined and imprisoned.

They just called me and asked me if i was interested in the food service position. She was very vague and i kept asking what the business was. I was hesitant the whole time and she told me there would be one day training and quickly said it would cost me 80 dollars. I told her i didnt have that money.  she told me to bring my SS card and the money and a photo ID. And she told me to repeat the address to her. I have an interview for thursday but of course im not going. Disgusting scammers.

Omgeeeee I just got that same phone call just now today.. That lady Samantha was talking to me in a really thick accent. I knew it was bullshyt when she asked for the $80.. She better get up outta here.. Her number was 646-462-4055 and asked me to repeat the address she just gave me.. Everything you guys are saying.. She said exactly that.. If she thinks I'm going to that interview she better think again.. Bye Samantha..!!!

Just got a VM from this ridiculous scam organization. I cannot believe they are still scamming people, did someone actually give them $$$?

SCAMMERS!!!!!! BEWARE!!! Omg these people are scammers. They get your information from indeed. A woman with an extremely thick accent called me and left a voicemail. She said her name was VANESSA and that she was calling me yo schedule an interview for a food server position. She was really vague and didn't even mention from what company she was from on the voicemail. So I decided to google the number and maybe see if the name of the company pops up. In doing so I clicked on this link and started reading the comments about how it's all I scam. By that time I had called a few times and hadn't was going to voicemail. When I finally got a hold of this VANESSA character I already knew what was up but I let her speak so I can hear if she was going to say the same thing to me and ask for money. And what do you know she asked me if I had a food license and I said no ofcourse and she proceeded to tell me that that's not a problem that all I needed to do was train for one day and that I should bring $80 in case I get hired smh. And asked me if I was close to the Manhattan area. Right then I stopped her and let her know what she can do with her "interview" and that I already knew about their scam. After I hung up I called back several times and why I finally got to her I asked her dos she enjoy scamming people and that I would be calling the police and sending them out there and all she had to say was "that's fine".

I went to the interview it was in a very nice building in Manhattan on 132 street they asked for 80 dollars nd in the interview for 200 more nd 24 dollars more also   I didn't know it was a scam at first but luckily I didn't have the money but when I replied  to 3  different  positions nd a day after I got a CALL for 3 different 646  area code numbers each telling me to go to  3 different addresses then I knew it was a scam so I didn't go nd they keep calling my phone I was luck that  I had money problem at the time

A woman name Maria called me today and told me about being a food server and i have to being my ID , ss card and 80$ for my license for after being hired. She said to meet with her manager Dalia & the address on 132 W 31st between 6th and 7th on the 15th floor 31-10 plaza ... the number was 646-461-6448
