I have received calls from this number for 3 days straight.  Called 3 times in one day.  I have never answered and have no idea how they got my number.  Also got a call from 646 512 5425.  I assume it's the same company as I do not know anyone living in 646 area code.

i received a call today 3 times from the 646 number. i wasn't home but my mom was and didn't pick up, she said they didn't leave a message either. hmmm

I have received 2 calls in 2 days to my cell phone.  They do not leave voice mail and I do not answer unknown numbers.

This number called twice in a row. The phone only rang once and I never got a chance to try and answer it.

Just got a call and when I answer, it took about 5 seconds for them to respond.  So I think a computer calls and hangs up if no one answers.  It was College Genius.  I told them i wasn't interested and to take me off the call list.  Guy was polite, think a little shocked when I told him to take me off the list.

I'm starting to get these calls -same thing - no message and says unknown caller.  I am on the DNC and I have an unlisted phone number.  Very irritating!!  Between that and unwanted spam, I'm ready to be a hermit!!!  LOL!

I've now received 6 phone calls from this number in 2 days! MAKE IT STOP!!!

I got a call from this number about 30 minutes ago from obviously not anyone I knew.

Next time I plan on blowing a whistle into the phone like my late grandmother.

Also, I figured I'd let some of the people on here know that typing in all caps DO NOT CALL and then listing their number will not make these calls stop, neither will calling a do not call list. In my experience, speaking a foreign language or making a loud noise into the phone or shouting curses will stop the calls. Please don't list your number on this site, or anywhere on the internet, really, it will just lead to more calls like the ones you're experiencing now.

I get a call from these people once a day sometimes twice a day and they dont say anything.  I am getting really tired of them calling.  Its getting really old.

yeah, i got a call from them just now... i didn't want to stay on the phone long because it seemed like a waste of time. it was some black guy with a nigerian accent. I couldn't understand him and plus, they were wasting my minutes: I'm Prepaid

This company needs to be reprimanded.  If we spend our money on answering their calls or we call them back we are opening ourselves up to other telemarketing companies.  This should not be allowed on cell phones nor home lines but as someone above said, our government is not going to do anything about it.  I wonder how much they are getting paid from these companies to allow such hypocrisy....

They want to engage you, get you to answer and then hopefully manage to get you to verify identity so they can "authenticate" or verify your phone number to Equifax Experien and Trans Union. It helps them in reporting debts to the bureaus and making them stick. Now you know. Don't talk to Them or engage them in any way, period.

Same here, called 3 times today on my cell, dead air every time.  Called the caller id number, got a recording it's "College Genie."  On hold 3 minutes, no answer, then I gave up.  Googled "College Genie", if that's their website, they purport to arrange college scholarships for illegal immigrants.

why must people post things like this on message boards that call center managers never read?

oh, it's a little more advanced than that these days. the numbers are input into a dialer application and a computer dials the call for the representative. so basically, once a rep is off the line...it dials a new number for them

they keep calling and I am on the do not call list.... GRRRRR

Please take my number off of your call list and do not call (I'am currently already on the 'no call list') I use to me a supervisor for a call center and I know you have only 72hrs after I clearly speciafy to take my number off from your list...after that it becomes legally categorized as harassment.
