Received a call which said likely spam from this number and it was Indian scammers on the other end. Be aware of these Indian scammers. Hang up and don’t trust these thieves.

Called our clinic, I didn't pay attention to where he said he was calling from because he is calling a business in Winnipeg and the number is a 647 area code (GTA.) We don't do business with any company outside of Manitoba. I knew right away it was a scam. Stated he believed he was talking with the owner. If he actually worked with our business, he would know that our owner never answers the phone. I asked if he was cold calling or if we had a contract with him, he first said "no contract", but when I asked again "Okay so your cold calling?" He again said no. So even he doesn't know if he works for scam. I asked again "Well if your not cold calling, and we don't have a contract, I'm likely to believe this is a scam, so please don't ever call our business again." he did try and say he wasn't a scam, but an easy google search of the number only brings up is scam tracking websites. Told him he's a terrible scammer before hanging up.
