Called and said that he was from the Canadian Government's security department.  Proceeded to say that he needed my cooperation to reduce crime in the area.  I called his bluff when he started asking me questions like..."are you the homeowner?" and "do you own a security system?". I  then hung up.

Very annoying. Called us a few times. Never says anything, just hangs up after about 10 seconds... How can I block this number??

Orig call 8 SEP 2011, put on call denial, deleted from call denial 3 OCt 2011. They called again 12 OCT 2011 and now again on call denial.  Given the number of rejects they get you'd think they would get the message. I have sent a long list of numbers, that have called me like this one, to the CRTC and suggested its about time they did something.  The ones I hate the most are the ones who withold telephone numbers or use a bogus number - they should be jailed.

I get this call daily, I don't tend to answer numbers I don't know - but each time they call my home number while it is still ringing my office line in my home starts ringing.. this time I answered DEAD AIR and then hung up.
how is it that everytime my home line is called my office line is called at the same time?

I have listed both my numbers on the DNC list and yet... everyday a new telemarketer of somesort is calling me.

use yahoo chat or google chat to call back hundred times then they will stop harassing you.

Called 7 times in a row. Really really annoying !

This guy has been calling for months, he is getting really mean. he's called our house 3 times this evening. I did call phone busters weeks ago and they were very rude saying there was nothing they could do, they acted like we shouldn't even have been calling them.

I just got called about 10 times in the last 8 min... very anoying...

I just got in on Saturday morning and the number 647-477-6961 just called my house 10 times in a row, as I can see it on my call display. Tried to call back but they are "unavailable" right now. How do I stop them?

This number JUST called me, similar to most above, there is a moment of silence and then they hang up.  This number has been calling randomly for sometime.  I call it back, it says the number is "temporarily out of order" WTF!?  SO ANNOYING!

I live in Toronto and received a call earlier today from a heavy east indian accent about replacing doors and windows.   The company "Consumers Choice Windows" is a very large installer and remembered their name after replacing my windows and doors last summer.  They're often found in junk mail flyers and malls with kiok displays.  You've most likely seen, but ignored all the marketing of their products.  

We met a salesrep and after doing our research, found quite a few complaints about their poor products (company named product, but mfg. by the low grade Window City).  The high price and lousy service is to pay the high commissions.  Very aggressive, cheap products and extremely overpriced.  

The company might not be a scam, but they act in such a manner they are close.  Stay away and don't bother wasting your time unless you decide to have fun and waste theirs...

I am very upset that these people keep calling daily, atleast 5 times a day and asking for someone by the name of deauntre or deviniti...whatever,  i have told them many times they do not live here. I have had 3 calls of laughing, 1 time they called 4times in a row and today again laughing like this is a professional prank calling place. I would like to find this business and take action because it has gone beyond there business now they are prank calling.........THAT IS ILLEGAL AND NOW ITS JUST PLAIN OLD HARRASSMENT!!!!!!! telemarketers call to sell...these people are a bunch of kids prank calling people from a business. I don't pay taxes to deal with ill mannered uneducated people when I am home with my family!
