"Merchant Services" cold call.  Did not say which merchant services.

Picked up the phone, before I said anything I could hear "on hold" music.  Definitely a computer doing the dialing.

Same as Pam - on hold music and then hang up.

Merchant services cold calling - wanting to set up an "information session" later in the week to discuss changes to merchant service fee structure as a result of COVID-19. Would not identify which company he was representing.

this number called 647-478-0371, left a voice mail that was dead air.

Similar pattern to the above. Calling my cell as it is registered to a business name but I don't use Merchant Accounts. Get a telemarketing call at least once a year for this.

"Merchant Services" cold call

A call came in just now asking to speak with the owner by his full legal name, which is always a dead giveaway that's a a telemarketer.  Refused to leave any message, and indicated "he'll call back later this afternoon."  After cross referencing here, he'll continue to be told that the owner is unavailable and to remove our number from his call list.

Caller stated that he could get me Walmart's merchant rates and requested a copy of my statement so he could look over my rates and call me back with a plan to reduce my rates. I informed him that I only deal with my merchants directly and had no need for a broker. He got very aggressive, went on a huge rant on how I should use a unbiased 3rd party to save money, then called me a bad business owner and hung up.

"Merchant Services" calling to speak with the "person on the account". Would not divulge any more information or allow me to take a message to call him back. Said he would call back at a later time; demanded the name of the person in charge of "merchant services". When I refused to connect him and continued to ask him to be more clear on what he was calling for, he then spoke down to me and belittled me, saying that he "can't believe a non-profit organization would speak to someone like this over the phone, especially when people are donating from all over the world." Absolutely disgusting person to deal with, definitely a scam call.

Male asks for owner of business, I tell them they're not available and they hang up. RUDE and DODGY.

Answered phone and immediately dead. I suspect it was the same ad the rest of the comments

called asking for business owner, but gave me the name of a general employee. would not identify company he was calling from. seemed offended i told him his information was incorrect. wouldn't provide me any info to look up on my own. wouldn't send an email. wanted to set up a meeting regarding our "merchant account" ...asked how i know he's legit, and he hung up on me. enough said.

The guy calls me and asked me a bunch of questions rudely.  I didn't have time for him so I said "what is this in regards with and can I help you" The degenerate responds with "dont be rude to me or i'll hang up" Like the idiot calls me and interrupts my day and he had the audacity to tell me he'll hang up on me!! lol I said go ahead and hung up on him.  These morons hate their jobs!
