Banks are giving out your personal information to these telemarketing companies in order to make outbound telemarketing calls, often using auto dialing devices. You have a right to ask what company they are calling from, their street address, their name, the company they are calling for, their privacy officer and phone number, and how they got your personal information.
You need to register a complaint with the Federal Privacy Commissioner at http://www.priv.gc.ca/complaint-plainte/index_e.asp.
Also register a complaint with the CRTC at https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-eng
Also write to the Privacy Officer at the bank and let them know you have registered a complaint with PIPEDA and the CTRC. And dont accept a call back from their call centre to placate your complaint. Insist on only speaking to their Privacy Office directly.
Also put your name on the National Do Not Call List. In the future that is your defence if calls continue. It will take at least 31 days to take effect.

The scammers are at it again. Male caller asked to speak to my wife and that he was calling on behalf of the BMO, asked if he wanted to leave a message , answered no, and hung up.Beware of these calls, these scammers have a lot of personnal information. DO NOT GIVE ANY OF YOUR PERSONNAL BANKING AND/OR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.

I got the same phone call,,answered it etc,and called it back,,,same deal , added my number to the do not call list, so I did but I still get the calls. So, now what?

I've had several calls from this number. I'm not always home to answer it but I see it in my call-display list. Today I answered it and no one is there. Figures. Who is this scum-bag and what do they want from me anyway?

The company is IBEX Global located in Manila.  The direct number is 667-1100

This number has been calling once or twice a day for the past week, including twice today (Saturday); blocked the number on day 2 (after the 3rd call in a day and a half and no message left).

The 2nd interruption today (still the one ring before it disconnects) pissed me off enough to call the number back, which led to a sketchy sounding voice recording claiming to be Ibex Global Solutions and offering the chance to be removed from their calling list.....if I happen to be dumb enough to give them my phone number. Uh no thanks, I don't want to actually GIVE you my number when you're already harassing me.

All I got from the site was that they're one of those horribly annoying call center megacompanies....and their flashy red and white webpage hurts my eyes.

This number will stay blocked.

When I called back the machine asked me to leave a message and they would get back to me.  Sound like an African accent.

That's what I got, once. Otherwise there's nobody there. I've added it to my auto reject list.

This number calls my phone each day. No one on the other end when I answer.

There are comments about this number dating back to 2013. I have been getting a call every few days for the past few weeks. There is no message just dead silence.

Beware scam! This is somebody supposedly calling on behalf of BMO. They know my name and know I have a BMO card! Strong Filipino accent. Barely could  understand what she says besides they want to give me $3000... !
DO NOT PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION, NO CREDIT CARD NUMBER, just send these people to HELL and F... themselves
