They call multiple times a day but never leave a message despite our having an answering machine.  They call at all hours and when we do pickup, there is dead air.  Next time I'm going to pick up and blow a whistle into the phone!  Wish I knew how to get these calls to stop.

BEWARE! SCAM!  They claim to be affiliated with the Ontario Power Authority, and offer a free assessment to get into your house. This is a lie. Once in your home, they will surely pressure sell you a furnace or new air conditioner. The claim you will qualify for a rebate, but the truth is the Ontario no longer offers rebates. This is a scamming company that 1. Defies the Do Not Call list 2. Preys on the elderly 3. Making huge profits that they dont mind paying fines when if/when busted by the CRTC for ignoring the Do Not Call list. On behalf of Ontarions, I am taking matters into my own hands. They coming to my house next week. I wont let them in, but i will snap a photo of their license plate and try to get a business card, then report them to the CRTC AND POLICE. I will post my update here next week.....look for my name "OntarioWoman." In the meantime, warn your family and friends, especially grandparents.

Their phone number 647-558-5685 is not registered to any business. Their website also does not exist www.knowyourenergycore.ca.

Correction:  the website these scammers refer to is knowyourenergyscore.ca. this is a real website, but if you go to it, you will that this program did exist but has since expired, therefore u know this is a scam!!

Just got a call from this "Eco Energy". Or so they say.   1-647-558-5685
Told them they were breaking the law, and they hung up.
Reported to Do not Call list.
Does anything ever get done with these complaints????
I'm not surprised there are so many complaints about this number and Eco Energy, if it's them.

Just received 2 calls in a row from this number (I'm in the 613 area).  The first time I answered and nobody spoke, so I hung up.  The phone rang again a few seconds later...I didn't answer and they did not leave a message.

They're also going door-to-door with fake Ontario Power Authority I.D. badges to conduct a "survey".  I told the guy to wait while I called OPA to verify his identity, waited 3 minutes and, when I went back to the door, he was gone.

Got a call from this #. Belongs to a Sam . Says he's from Rogers promotion dept.in Burlington presumably Ontario.  Has access somehow to Rogers system . Asks for two pieces of ID to move to Rogers. Pls do not give. He seems to be a scam scamster.  If asked for a Rogers Interaction # he provides one that customer service cannot pull up. They cannot access his promos either.  How does hGot a call from this #. Belongs to a Sam .
