Another scammer. Blocked and reported (as if that does any good).

650 area code: California (Daly City, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Los Altos)

I received a call from this number on Tuesday, 09/05/17 at 2043 hrs and no voice-mail message was left. Caller ID displayed 'LOS ALTOS, CA' and nothing more. Since I was not expecting a call from this area code nor do I even know anybody from or do business with any organization within Central or Northern California, the call was rightfully ignored. Besides, the majority of legitimate businesses/organizations will usually leave a voice-mail message.

Further internet research has disclosed that this new SCAMmer phone number is related to other numbers emanating from the same area, but with different area codes, prefixes, and numbers. This new number has also been reported as a nuisance phone number and which others have already reported as an ‘Unsafe Caller’ aka SPAM and it’s been linked to other ‘robocallers’ operating under the guise of businesses/organizations named ‘American Solar’ and ‘Solar Solutions’, and sometimes also claiming to be an authorized IRS debt collector, etc.

Because of the plethora of SPAMmers/SCAMmers continually weaseling their way through cellphone and landline networks, I have ‘white listed’ all numbers of those whom I would ever want to speak with and all others will just be rightfully ignored...cheers.

P.S. If you haven't figured it out by now, the Federal Do Not Call List only works for legitimate businesses/organizations and does not work to thwart against those SPAMmers/SCAMmers utilizing robocallers.
