Yes this group has called my cell phone number numerous times. They are just so irritating !!. I am going to file a complaint against them in the Do not Call registry website

How do you get this number blocked from calling your CELL NUMBER.  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST and have type "stop" when it is a text messagas instructed with no luck. These people should be prohibit prosecuted for abuse.

I called the number back, middle Eastern gent, refused to tell me who they were. I reported them to FCC.

Last night my phone would ring every 5 min alternating between this # & 011 i was annoyed because i was waiting for an important call.

Have a new number thought it was AUTO DIALER FREE,.....never an ID(they know they should not call)...well thats ok...thanks to these smart phones....just put them on the REJECT CALLER LIST....NO WORRIES NOW....

and YES the Govt. should pass more laws to protect the general public from these types of calls,,,maybe the fcc already has them they just do not get used....I will certainly do some checking on that...

Just got a call from 650.230.1969 on my cell while I was at work. I refused to answer and they left a 40 second voicemail with muzak.

I've never had a credit card, I have zero debt. What the hell is this?!?!

caller ID said TATA Communications but it is actually the Northland Group, a bunch of scum bags debt collectors trying to collect on old debts. They use various numbers for their scam activities.

My family has been receiving calls from this number, not just normal collection calls but the guy on the other end is saying that he is with the Fresno, California Police Department and he needs their address and social security number in order to clear the warrants for their arrest.
My parents nor my brother has ever visited Fresno or even California. We called the Fresno Police Dept and according to the department, they have no Detectives working there by his name or recorded with his number. Luckily my family is pretty smart and hasn't turned over any information but please beware of this guy and his attempts to gather info.
I have turned him into the wireless carrier and working on having him caught.

I've received 3 calls from this number in the last month. So glad I found this site! I just added the number to the reject list on my phone.

If you are receiving harassing calls from anyone please report them on the Federal Trade Commission website FTCCOMPLAINTASSISTANT.GOV takes 2 mins! Maybe if we all did this everytime they call the FTC will shut them down!

Debt Collectors trying to collect a debt on my ex husband that I haven't seen in 4 years, get in line buddy, he owes me over 20k in child support.

I don't appreciate my cell phone being called by these ppl. Couple weeks a go I was getting called from Glendale, CA. 32 calls in one day! My daughter got on phone and stasrted asking them question., asking for supervisor, and told them they needed to learn better English. They would Call and then she would call back and ask for supervisor. Someone claiming to be from a leagal rep for some law office. She told them BS cause they wouldn't be this rude if they were. Finally they got pissed at her calling and THREATEN us with bombing our house and sending someone there to take care of us. Needless to say, Homeland security was called, FBI, FTC, FCC local Police, Attorney General. They went too far...But they surely didn't like a taste of thier own medicine. Two days after, they called again and asked if this was me and said my name and I said yes. They profusely apolgized and said they would not call again. And they haven't. Give them a taste of thier own medicine, Ask thier name where they live, SS#, phone number, DL number. Tell them they were reported to FBI, FTC, FCC. They are nobodies!!! Treat them like that. Local cops in AZ said its not against the law. Just don't threaten bodily harm! CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is in fact, Northland Group, Inc., but they are not a collection agency. They are a recovery company, which is to say that they are more in the business of settling debt than actually collecting full balances owed. All the same, they represent clients such as Spiegel, GE Money Bank, GE Capital etc., so if you owe (or owed) a balance for a store credit card or one of these companies, that's probably why they are calling.

All you people clamoring for more government laws and regulations need to stfu.  There are ways to handle this yourself without creating bigger govt, more taxes, etc.  Try taking care of yourselves instead of begging for the incompetent govt to do it for you.  Seriously.

multiple calls daily - no messages. I have blocked them and the number changes just a little-usually the same last four numbers.
