They never leave a message. I think they have called numerous times and they hang up when I answer. When this happens I get a text from another number, shortly after, asking for me to accommodate a large party of people for massages. I never respond because I recognize the procedure and the wording. It is a scam. The send a fake check for over the amount, "BY MISTAKE", they say. Then they want you to deposit it into your bank and wire them the difference or they , do you a so called favor by allowing you to keep a small portion for your troubles. Meanwhile the check if fraudulent, you send them real money and you never knew who you were talking to. Thankfully I caught on and reported this and did not deposit the check. Google ad scam calling to "correct" my Google listing.

When I answer they hang up - obvious fishing call - meaning robots test to see when the number is answered then a sales person will call at that same time in  a few days.
The best way to get rid of calls like these is never ever do business with a spammer no matter how good the offer is. If it isn't profitable they wont' do it.

Impostors who claim to be from Google or associated with Google (they are neither). They either claim your business Google+ profile is not complete/verified or that they can raise your search engine rankings through their adwords and SEO services. Today they tried the SEO angle with me, but since they call multiple times a day from different spoofed numbers, in about an hour I’m sure they’ll call back again from a different number and try the other angle. They spoof numbers from all across the USA to avoid being tracked and blocked. They try to make you believe they are from Google (or that they are associated/partnered with Google) to persuade you to purchase their bogus services so they can obtain your financial info. They call all numbers (including cell and Do Not Call list numbers), and they hang up if you ask them to verify their identity, their company, or ask too many probing questions. They are looking for an easy mark. They call me at least 3-4 times every single weekday, and it's been going on for almost a year now despite my number being on the Do Not Call list. My number is always robo-dialed by them, and they rarely repeat the same spoofed number so they can try to bypass any blocking you've setup for their other numbers.

Called 4 times today.  10, 3, 4, 4:30.  I reported each to the Do Not Call website.

Yeah sounds about right, they call our office about 10-12 times claiming to be google.

So sick of getting these calls!!!!! I wish there was a way I could block the number :(

Not Google; scare tactic telemarketing only. BLOCK THEM and you will feel better. :)

They continue to call our office multiple times a day. Everyday. It's unbelievable. They constantly tie up the line and even if you answer there's no one there.

At this point, it is comical.  Calling blocked numbers...I check periodically so that I can laugh at how darn stupid telemarketers are.  HOPE YOU ARE HAVING FUN.......We don't even hear it ring......

Just hung up on this phish call.  Google never robodials and will always have a live person making the call.  I'm a google agency/ad manager and trust me that when you get a recording claiming to be google it's bogus!

I think these spam dialers are making money per minute of call time.  When I resetup my TF phones we accidentally set recording times to 60 minutes and the first few days they filled every minute, which I paid for.

Foe those thinking the No-Call List will help...   the calls tripled after I added my toll free numbers to it.

Me too...   it's insulting to have my toll free numbers being swamped with bogus recorded calls

You can block all you want, but they will just spoof a new call from number and continue dialing their lists. This is the newest spam game.

The list is where they're getting these numbers in the first place!!!   They are using it TO CALL

They have called 6 times today already.  About 5 minutes apart or less. I added this phone number to my auto reject weeks ago.
