The caller ID showed up as Reyes Company on my phone, but I didn't answer.  Did anybody else get caller ID?  I will make sure not to talk to these people.

I received the same call with a voicemail about my loan forgiveness.  Here's the thing for all of you who actually qualify for loan forgiveness.  The Loan Forgiveness program for federal student loans is managed by the Dept. of Education directly.  When you apply to the program your loans are transferred to the Dept. of Education.  They will NEVER call you and ask for information over the phone.  They work predominantly with snail mail and email.  And, if they have any messages for you once you are in their system, they inform you of any changes through your online account and through mail.  In short, do NOT provide any personal information to this company about Loan Forgiveness.  They have ZERO authority and might be scammers.

Also, Trump may be getting rid of the Loan Forgiveness program but if you have already applied for the program and been accepted, then you are grandfathered in.  Trump cannot take that away from you.

Here's a rule of thumb:  Seek your OWN information.  Never accept information from an "unsolicited" stranger or caller.  Contact your Congressman's Office for assistance where programs or help maybe available(even for free).  Or research it YOURSELF from a reputable company that you can check with the BBB or your local Chamber of Commerce.   Don't be fooled... those people are only out to take your $$$$$ and run!!!

After daily calls for the past three weeks and reporting each one to DoNotCall.gov I figured the government isn't there to help me. Just discovered there is a number blocking feature on my phone. They can't text me because it's a landline. Clue should be the -300- prefix. No such thing.

Strange.  I received the call saying my student loans have been approved for forgiveness and to call the number.  The call does not show up in my "recents" so I am unable to block it, but, I received the voicemail.  Firstly, I am over 65 and my loans were paid off 41 years ago.
