    Caller with a foreign accent said it was Visa/Mastercard Fraud Services and wanted me to approve an $800 purchase.  I asked for retailer name and he couldn't even tell me that.  He was the fraud.

    Visa and Mastercard are two separate competing companies, they do not share a "Fraud Services" department.  Anyone who calls and says they are with Visa and Mastercard is a scammer.

    I just had a call from this number as well. Same strong accent.  I hung up after he said he was from the fraud department of the credit union.  Thanks for sharing your experience, I feel like I made the right move now.
