Once again, we are continuously being harassed by phone calls from people who say we owe money, from a pay day loan business.  We have talked until we are blue in the face that we don't owe anyone money, but they are insistant that we do and we did take out a pay day loan some date in 2010.  I'd really like to turn the tables on them next call and irritate them like they irritate us...

Which of these in your opinion would be the most irritating -- a whistle, air horn or screaming smoke alarm?   Enjoy!!!

There's something more irritating than that. Hearing reruns of the daily news or listening to a motor mouth that talks nonsense.

I am getting the same calls. It is a lady and she is calling everybody she can at my job. I wish I could trace it, but they are so good with these scams. I am really getting tired of them calling my friend. It seems like if I don't want to talk with them, why are you bothering other people who do not know what is going on. What can be done?

I am getting the same calls, a recorded message stating that the person is calling from the dept of process and summons. When I called the sheriff's dept, I was informed that this is the dept for serving summons to appear. These summons would be issued only by the state in which you reside. If your getting calls from this number, than you might be getting them from the following as well. 318-553-5145 (shreveport, la) and 480-499-0412 (phoenix, az). and this number is from palo alto, ca. clarence thomas works at all of these locations...wow. Turn it over to the police...let them shut it down.

turn it over to the police department...they can trace it. do not give out any information - home or work. if these were legitimate calls, they would already have all of your information. if they do not...you know it is a scam. they are calling your work, simply because they want you to get tired of it and cave. every time the calls start up is around the time that the school where i attended handled financial paperwork. let the sheriff's dept give them a call....

all of these numbers are the same person. i did call the 318# back, but it had apparently gotten disconnected. the other two i did not call back. the recording stated that the person's name was clarence thomas - two different states in two different dates from the dept of process and summons. the 650# was a recorded female voice from the process servers office getting ready to serve me.

when i called the sheriff's department, i was told that these are state offices. my name, address & phone number was taken, but nobody ever called me back.
