Perhaps Kieran does know. Scammers frequently spoof legitimate phone numbers so you can't guarantee "it's Google customer service".
By the way, why are you even here? You apparently already know to whom this number belongs.

I noticed my Google My Business site was 404 not found, I contacted them via email and they called me back on this number. It's Google.

I let the call go to my answering machine; apparently the robodialer began speaking when my a/m picked up. What was recorded was

"I did not receive a response. Hi there! This is Google returning your call request. To speak with a specialist, press '1'."

"Sorry, I did not receive a response. Hi there! This is Google returning your call request. To speak with a specialist, press '1'." [with the exception of the added word 'sorry', the pacing/pitch/infection of this second message was identical; either a good IVR or a copied appeal from a human voice - MBP]
<<[Pause for a few seconds]>>
"Sounds like we missed you. You can always receive another call from us later. Thanks!"

It is possible that we (or more specifically Mrs. ManBearPig) accidentally triggered a call when she dropped her device [NOT a Google Pixel Phone!]. But we are not going to take the chances by actually answering this call.

P.S., I really doubt the assertions by J and Olinguito from 12-18 months ago that this is a legit call. Just saying...
