nothing left on voice mail.

I got a call from this number today, it is Alliance One Collections.  The annoying thing is that we have no collections, they are trying to get a hold of my ex-brother in law.  We have told them before to no stop calling us as we will not give them any information nor will we pass on their harassment to him.  Trying to find out our rights as I feel we are being harassed by them and we aren't the ones they are trying to collect from!

This person called today asking if my husband was at home.  I told him, no, could I take a message.  They said they were wanting to leave a message for '________,' (my husband's ex-wife of 3 years!)  I replied, No one lives here by that name.  He says, I know, but I thought this might be a good place to leave a message for her. I say, Well, we're not her personal messenger service....she's the ex-wife and lives a 100 miles away.  He says, Oh, then you probably don't talk to her, then.  I reply, uh....no.  He says, Okay, I'll try somewhere else.

This is the 2nd time they've called here for her.  What I want to know is why are his name and phone # associated with her credit?  We don't even live in the same town!

Also, why don't they just call information?  Her phone number is a publicly listed number and she's lived in the same house since the divorce.  Why are they bothering us?!
