uses local numbers but leaves messages with this call back number. Usual threats for scam Bill collectors. Leaves no name. Robo call. Ignoring

Spoofs a local number but leaves this as a call back number. Threatening robo call.  Among other thing they're going to contact HR at my work.  That should be fun since I'm retired.  From the tone and lack of any details of who they are or what the "matter" they have against me is, it's got to be some low life scum trying to scare people out of their money.

This is a collection agency that uses spoofed local numbers to make you think your answering a local call from your area code.  THen they leave a threatening message about contacting your HR and Job.  This is nothing but a scam.  THis agency buys up old collection debt that is out of statue of limitations.  When you call back the 651 number?  They give you no information and only ask for information.  Give them NOTHING!  if you do they can try and re-establish the debt as current.  It is what they want you to do.  So dont give them anything.  NOTHING.  No information dont even verify your name.  They have nothing they can do to you other than threaten.  You can block the local number they try to call from but they will simply use another one.  Collection agency's are using this tactic often but realize that what they are trying to collect is out of statute of limitations.

Spoofs local number 814-876-3339 - states they are contacting from their clients process division on pending matters and since they are unable to reach me by phone they are going to reach me at home or place of business. No idea what this is about or regarding.

I do not have any debts or problems with anyone but this call are coming in at my home

I just received the same call threatening to contact my home and job. If this a debt it is an old debt because they left my maiden name. I started laughing.

Keeps calling me at work! Stating that they are going to deliver papers to my work! I called the number 651-383-8281 claim number LAC42889 states that i took out a cash loan and never paid back. Told them I wanted to review paperwork said that they have sent me the paperwork will settle with me today for 742.00 and if we go to court it will be well over $2200.00. I said I guess court because I am not paying anything unless I see some paperwork he hung up on me!

A call comes in from this unassigned number.  A recorded message to someone I've never heard of threatens to serve legal papers at home or work.  This appears to an attempted "shakedown"  Next time I'll answer and then hang up immediately.

they say they are horizon recovery. they wont reveal their address on the phone so i hung up

Yes this is exactly what they said on my vmail. They are even calling my husband saying the same thing.

A male voice left a message on my landline said that he’s from SS that someone was tampering my SS that if authorized the transactions and to call back this number: 651-383-8280 and left a case number: 9571967, and said that I’ve notified, “good luck”.
