Called, no Vmail... this is a call form Anaheim, CA according to the call maps. probably a scam never give your info to anybody calling. actually never give your phone # away either if you can avoid it.

If you have an iPhone, go to your phone app, click the information circle next to the number as its listed in your Recents, scroll down and select Block this Caller. Their calls will no longer get through to you. I'm sure other cell phones have this option too, if you don't have an iPhone.

Just got the call on my cell.  Didn't answer.  They called twice last week using 657/220-1614.  It doesn't do any good blocking the number if they just keep changing it by the last digit.  So frustrating.

Spoofed Numbers: Caution, 657-220-1619 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number. Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain, but they failed... you can still file a complaint here to fight back against unethical telemarketers.

Same as above.  Robo-dialer started calling at 9PM last night; every minute.  I finally answered around 9:30, hoping to be able to talk with somebody (to threaten them to remove me from their list.)  But only heard the "Congatulations you have been selected..." message.  Then it hung up!! So I don't get it what's their ploy?  As soon as it disconnected it started ringing again.  Finally unplugged my phone to stop the harassment.

Just tried my cell phone.  No message.

Missed call. Checked 800notes. Won't return the call

Calls multiple times and doesnt leave a VM. I never pick up since i dont recognize number. Seems like total telemarketer scam as will get other calls from similar # 657-220-16xx variation

The 657 area code is an overlay of the 714 area code.

I seldom answer calls that I don't recognize.  This came today.  Glad I didn't answer.

Just noticed this number called my phone. As I usually do with unknown numbers, Step 1 : I turn to the internet, do a search here for an idea if it's a legitimate call or not. Found this thread and moved to Step 2 : select the number on my phone and Block.

But as I scanned some prior missed calls on my phone, I noticed something peculiar. A pattern of numbers : 657-220-16XX.

I never noticed this before, but I've had 5 other calls in the past six months from the same number, with the exception of the last two digits. Clearly it's coming from the same source, but since they never leave a message or respond when I answer the phone, what can we do?

The fake "survey" they mention exists only to take advantage of a loophole in the Do-Not-Call Registry; an exemption for survey calls. Too bad for them there have been successful prosecutions against scammers who tried to work the fake survey angle. Their turn will come.

In the meantime, don't be a sucker for this swindle.

Called. I did not answer because called almost 6PM. I do not answer unknown numbers but did not left me a voicemail message. That means it's not important to me to even worth calling back.

I answered in a different language than I normally use, and they hung up on me. (P.S. I did not answer in English) Because I thought the number, especially the area code looked suspicious and unknown. Called back, found "survey now over," pressed 9 to be "removed from future calls." Yeah. Sure!

I just got 2 calls from this number. First on my home phone, "you've won a cruise for two!". I listened and pressed 9 to be removed. Minutes later same number to my cell phone. Hmmm, guess that stolen and sold data by HR person is getting around!
