I answered and the person did not say where they were calling from, they just said they were calling because they had sent multiple notices and that this was the last warning that the warranty on my vehicle was about to expire. I told him they had the wrong number (truly, because my car is 10 years old, was gifted, and does not have a warranty) and he promptly hung up on me. Definitely a scam!

Call came into my cell. It was beeping like a fax machine trying to connect.

Called about my warranty had expired on my 13 yr old vehicle. I. Bought it used and never had one. When i told him yes, and could he warranty my jet too...well, he hung up.

Asked about the warranty on my car. Asked them to repeat what they said. Hung up. I'd say telemarketer but does not seem to go beyond it's first question.

The old Car Warranty scam. Sometimes I'll play along with them and keep them engaged for about 10 or 15 minutes asking ridiculous questions until they get frustrated and realize I'm playing them before hanging up on me. Sometimes with swearing. It's cheap and easy entertainment if you are in the mood. And it keeps them from bothering someone else for a few minutes.
