Someone called 7-8 times from this number early on a Saturday morning. The first few times it was just a bunch of beeping like someone punching numbers (maybe trying to hack my voicemail). The next couple of times there was a recording of someone saying "you're a [***]." It was definitely a recording.

telemarketer out of , bakesfield, ca... keeps calling here in MA 1am 3am 6 am 9am on saturday i reported them to the attorney general in their area in CA i suggest you do the same, especially if you are on a DO NOT CALL LIST!

Got a call from this number.  The man identified himself as Officer Simon.....said he was calling from a Grant Association.  I asked if he was a policeman, because it was hard to understand him.  He said "yes".....Really????

It's a skype number.
I lost my phone in my house last night and was afraid I had lost it while i was out. So, I went on Skype, signed in and dialed my phone. I did find my phone.
I looked at my missed calls this morning and this number is the number skype assigned to that call.
So if he's calling you and scaring you, skype may be able to help you.

posted and add on craigslist offering dog walking....Guy calls from an "unknown" # to ask about walking his 7 yo job@?!  I hang up on him because it creeps me out (by the way, its 1130p) He calls back with the 661-748-0244 and I had my hubby answer. Once he realized I wasn't alone he ended up hanging up on me.  I immediately removed my CL post.. people are too weird. :/

I Mean Yea I JUST Downloaded Skype On My Android Yesterday But Haven't Even Really Set It Up Yet To Use. So How Are All These Random People (If They Are People In-fact) Getting Our Numbers An Calling Us Thru Skype? You Would Think People Just Wouldn't Call Random People Eh? Strangers At That. I'm A-Little Irritated By This If It Is Skype!

my skype online number came up as 661 748 0244, which is listed somewhere near Bakersfield, Ca. not even close. But with the subscription account, you can vary what shows up on caller ID, evidently.... I set it to my correct number, and it seems to be ok now, but i still don't know why this number came up in the first place. It came up as a dead number when I called it from Skype, but from Google voice it just rang with no answer.

I got a call on my cell from this number. It was Super Shuttle, who is supposed to be picking me up tomorrow morning to take me to the airport in San Diego. This was just a courtesy reminder.

Palmdale? That might seem weird but, given that Super Shuttle isn't just a San Diego company, it's not surprising...

Got a call from this number they left a voicemail they sounded like a wannabe demented dog whining and than some words spoken could not understand due to them speaking so low

I just got a call from the same number.  She said she was from Wyoming with information about the estate for the person who does not live at this address. Sounds like some sort of scam after reading these.

I just got a call from the same number.  Like everyone else said it late.  It was weird because it was a guy claiming his name was Roy from Domino's pizza.  He told me that the large peperoni pizza I just ordered had marijuana in the sauce.  I believed him at first because as far as I know the only people who know I ordered the pizza was me, my husband, and Domino's.  I'm still not sure how he knew that and it kind of freaks me out.  But its good to know that I don't actually have marijuana in my pizza.  My husband actually called the cops on him and the police came to our door and went to Domino's.  I hope these stop.  This is not a funny prank at all!

Caller says he was microsoft engineer and wanted to remove a malware program. Broken English, lots of company in background doing same. Wanted online access to PC.  I called him a liar, etc.  Couple minutes later he called me shouting something about wanting to have his way with my dog.  I didnt tell my dog the good news.  Scam alert...give nobody access to your PC online.
