I suspect it's just a harmless kid with time to kill.  I was having some fun with him unitl he upped the ante with some racist jokes - then I hung up.

I got a call from this number asking for an "Escort Service". Told him he had wrong number and then received the normal profanity.  I hung-up and noted the number for my staff to ignore.

Interesting note.  The caller ID for the number said: BKFD Main  CA  

The only reason I answered the call was due to the fact I thought it might be the Bakersfield Fire Department.  Just an FYI.

Called an emergency hotline and stated she was being raped, another person in the background making jokes.

Male called our emergency medical services line and said his girlfriend was pregnant and barfing. He went on to say he only knocked her up last night and she got fat all of a sudden...at which point I noted his number and hung up. His number has been turned over to the police. Pranking emergency medical services is not funny -- or legal.

661-748-0900 called my cell at 12:09 am. Caller id Palmdale Area.

It is a generic # for calls made using skype.

These guys are hilarious. If they aren't getting paid for this stuff they should. Lame reality tv shows are making millions and the phone call I recieved was much more entertaining than any episode of jersey shore. These prank callers are the modern day Jerky Boys. Keep up the good work. Hahahahaha

Call from this number, and a series of other numbers after it.... I work in a doctor's emergency answering svc.  They called on a plastic surgeon's account, just being obscene/vulgar/immature.  There were two males and a female ... all of which sounded like they were drug and/or on drugs. Reading on other's comments, sounds like maybe a Skype conference prank call?  Good times. :/

The first words out of the man's mouth were profanity, and I hung up as soon as I heard them.  This was the third call in two minutes that were all similiar.  They called my place of business.  One of my coworkers answered first and talked in circles with them for a while.  That number was 559-470-0900 showing up as Fresno.  As soon as she hung up it rang again and I answered it.  This one came up as External 661-246-4600.  They would say a few words and then "Where is she" would interrupt it.  This went in a loop twice, then I hung up.  This was followed by a call from this number.

Got an email from Dell telling me I had an item saved in my cart at my request, giving this phone number and an address in Astoria, Queens:

They had my sister's address in Masssachusetts as the billing address. I had recently  ordered an item from Dell and had it delivered to that address but that is not my billing address

called me at today try to order Chinese food. then told me fxxk Chinese....... asked my mother I told him my mother and his mother with my dad right now, also tell him he is a chicken don't  have guts to use a real phone number. ha ha

Received a call at 3:25 a.m.  Do not appreciate calls at that hour.  The police should crack down on these callers who think they are doing no harm.

Well I am going to rip into skype then, if it is a test number they have for people to use then they need to track its usage.
Every one who finds this now , should contact skype directly and let them know you will not tolerate them helping to defeat the caller id system.
and if they can track down who called you, then make sure to press charges, even if it is a so called child.
You can either choose to be a victim or you can stand up for your rights.

Someone should disconnect this number based on all the reports.  We had a terrible connection but it sounded creepy.  Have no clue who it was...disconnect this line please....it's obviously disrupting a few lives.

This phone number has come up in more than one investigation where fictious reports are being made, such as shootings, bombs placed, etc. We need to manage this website better to stop things like this from happening. Someone is going to be hurt (or worse), if this continues.

Funny, I have a Skype account and when I called a company to check status, they recorded 661-748-0900 as my telephone number.  So, in fact this is possibly the number showing up for many people who have actual Skype accounts.  I use Skype legitimately as my VOIP number as opposed to having a land line.  Although, that is not my assigned number, I believe it defaults back to that particular number for many accounts.

I keep getting calls from the number 661-748-0900 It is a guy with nothing better to do then make prank calls. He is a guy asking me (a guy) for sex.
What the hell, ya know? If I could get my hands on him I would hurt him.
