- CW WestbrookTold him it was a scam & I was reporting his # to police. Don"t fall for his BS.
- terryWhen they called here today the guy tried to talk to my answering machine. This is the first time that has ever happened. When I didn't answer they called me back again with another number 448-267-7836. Answer this time don't know why I never do. Wanting fix my computer ,yeah wanting to clean out my bank account. The guy had a heavy accent told him I could not under stand him ,that I know he is call from overseas, he said no I'm calling from North America. Who out there believe him? Not me. I told him to give me to someone who speaks America English. He just passed the phone to someone else, same background nose. They hung up on me just because I kept asking for someone who spoke American English. Gee I don't understand why. ( just being to be funny I know why)

- terry replies to cmlooked up the area code says it from Mexico
- Amy replies to Notgon A. TelliaGOOD ONE!!!! Why can't I ever think of stuff like that when they call ME??? OMG I work from home and get (no lie here either) probably at least ten BS calls a day; this AFTER being registered (and reregistered and reregistered) on the National Do Not Call Registry... that is a joke by itself. I think I may even get more calls since being "registered" than I used to not being registered....
- SandyGot a call just a few minutes ago from this number. He fed me the whole story about my computer having some virus that was doing a lot of BS and that my computer had contacted them without my knowledge. I let him finish and then my response to him was "Bad computer! I will have to punished you for making long distance calls and bothering these hard working folks. I am so sorry my computer bothered you and will be unplugging it until he knows how to behave" and hung up. Idiots!
- annoyKept getting calls from this numbers, since I never answer calls from numbers I don't know I have no idea what it is about. After reading all the comments, I'm glad i didn't pick up and have since blocked the call.
- HateSpammersJust called my cell, after long delay he picked up the line. Asked if it was a business number (I said no), then he said he was with Tech Support America calling about my computer. I asked "and why are you calling me about my computer" and he hung up.

- Jane SmithAnother scam call, no doubt. Have received these before, and the guy sounds like he's from India. He always tells me to go to my computer. He said he was from Microsoft and there was a problem with my computer. Well, there really WAS a problem, and I had just called a reputable agency to remote fix it for me. This guy wanted remote access to my computer, of course, but I hung up on him. I called the REAL company, the reputable one--and they told me if I got a call generated from someone with an accent from India, it would be a scam. Glad I hung up.
- John replies to LASYou spent way too much time on the phone with this bottom feeder. These are scam calls. They want your passwords. I got a call from the same number. I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer. Buy an air horn or a loud whistle and blast it into the phone the next time you get a call like this.
- JPReceived a call from this number on my cell. Didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. They left no vmail. Definitely sounds like a scam.
- Anne T.Told me I probably had some error messages on my computer due to viruses from the Internet. I said how interesting, where are they coming from? He said from the internet. Hmmm. Mentioned that it was a Mac or PC. I said, how do you know it's my computer if you don't even know what kind of computer I have? He said it's connected to my telephone number. I told him he was full of s*** and hung up. But now I am wishing I had led him on a bit longer to get more of his BS. He had a thick accent.

- CandySame tech support BS. If he's a scam artist, he should find another line of work-- he isn't very good at this one. He doesn't sound SMART ENOUGH to be tech support. Did anyone else have a listing on Craig's List? Someone replied to my ad to ask about the item and how to get in touch with me so they could look at it. I gave them my number-- I'm pretty sure that's how he got my phone number. I won't give it out any more.
- Caller: Couldn't understand it!
- KevinHad a call from this number today. I answered, but they stayed silent till they hung up, while I repeated my hello and said "So, it's one of these calls." I've spoken with these fellas in the past. The caller ID showed different numbers then. One guy called twice. I first time I followed along with him on my computer to the point that I felt going further would be an issue. I simply wanted to see how they were going to convince me it was my computer that contacted them. It boiled down to finding a number within the computer which all PC computers share, per my searching over the Internet. I enjoyed the time, as I pretended to be fooled just to waste his time and keep him from calling someone else. I eventually told him I wasn't going to do more because I knew he was a scammer. He denied it of course and after some back and forth, he hung up.
I got another call from him another day and played him again, only this time my computer was not even on. I played really dumb, like I was making keyboarding errors and such as well as pretending to not understand the computer at all. I even told him my screen was blank at the end. He tried to help me figure it out. Finally I said, "Oh, I know why it's blank. It's not even on. You think I don't know you're trying to scam me? I even recognize your voice, you idiot!" He started calling me names using the "F-word" while I laughed at him till he hung up.
Today was the first time in months that a number I searched came back to them. Sorry they didn't answer now. I could have had some more fun.- Caller: Windows Support
- Karen replies to KirstenI love what you did to this guy! Next time they call, I'm going to pick up and play along, then tell him that I can't imagine why my computer has a problem, as I would've thought my employer, the CIA, has such great antivirus and call tracking ability! If that doesn't scare the crap out of this guy, maybe I will sing really loud...maybe, some heavy metal....!!!
