Wanted to purchase an item I had for sell through Paypal.  I sensed a scam and she claimed it wasn't; however, when I responded I didn't use Paypal never heard back from her.

LOL, I've been getting a lot of spammers/scammers like this and have been using this site to look up.  This time I looked here before replying to this number.  My reply was "I do not use PayPal" and they replied "What is PayPal?"  hahahah!

Texted me about an item for sale on Craig's List and said would mail me a cashier's check.  Bet I get a fake one or none at all.

Same! Did you give them your address? They are claiming to be husband and wife moving to a new home.

IF it is mailed, take the check AND envelope to the post office & pass it on to the postal inspectors.

Texted me today that they wanted an item I had for sale on Craigslist. Asked if I would accept payment if they mailed me a check and would wait till ti clears my bank, before making arrangements for the pick up. I sensed a scam... they haven't even asked to see the item. And thanks to this site, I'm sure. I'll say no.

Posted some items for sale and the person was the first one to respond with interest. I m worried that they will use my name to harm other people.

Craig’s list scam

I got a reply to an ad on craigslist that said to text them at this number. Looked it up, found this thread and reported as a scam. Thanks.

A Kay Mathews replied to an ad I had on craigslist and she wanted me to text her at this number. Looked it up, found this thread.  It's obviously a scam.  Delete her emails.

Posted an item for sale on Craigslist and within minutes received the below email from Williams Bridge.

“Hello!
I saw your ad and am so interested in it.
If still available kindly text me on 669-222-3756
Thank you.”

Looked fishy so I checked online and it appears to be a spam email. Did not and am not going to respond!
