This number called me, but I don't answer calls from unfamiliar numbers.

Too many scammers out there, and if the call is legitimate they will leave a message.

Answered, "I'm sorry" in a creepy, ominous voice and disconnects. So weird.

My phone's caller ID actually said ''SPAM LIKELY''

Just happened to me too!

When I answered the phone a woman said "sorry" and hung up. I immediately blocked the number so I don't know if she tried to call back.

Rang twice then hung up; blocked the number as we do not know anyone with 677 area code.

This is a recent SCAM out there:  If you answer 'Yes' or 'OK' to a question they ask, like 'Can You Hear Me', the called records your 'YES' answer to use your voice for future fraudulent charges. Google: "Yes Phone Scam". Best thing to do, is obviously, don't answer a call from a number you don't recognize.

There no documented stories showing that a simple yes has been used to scam anyone.  Please cite one reliable news source, showing this has happened.  A story saying that this might happen, doesn't count.

Some criminals may do the same, pretending to be a collection agency, a law enforcement official, or a doctor treating a close relative.

This number called my digital marketing company. I scan all my calls and this one is a scammer. Block their number. I am tired of scammers!

Same exact thing.  Sounded like a sickly older person...bizarre...

Answers... and he or she said "im sorry" i said "ok?!"... silence.. so i hung up... something isnt right! ... blocking it

Called and said "I'm sorry" and hung up just as everyone else here is saying. Blocked the number, hoping I'm not going to get traced now

They called and said "I'm sorry" and then hung up.

Says I'm sorry and hangs up. The call is dropped if you call the number back

They called me this morning but i didn't answer. when i do a look up for area code and this is what I found "The 677 area code is NOT a valid area code. This area code is NOT officially assigned to a known Numbering Plan Area (NPA). The 677 area code is not assigned to a city/state location. In most cases with invalid area codes like 677, tend to be used by phone numbers from telemarketing companies."

Rang three times, no answer.  I didn't pick up since I googled this number while phone was ringing.  LIKELY SCAM AND DO NOT CALL IT BACK.
