Got similar calls also, first was back in July and then got a call today saying I have 48 hours to respond.
Lisa Hoffman called asking to contact Scott Freeman.

Got two calls from this BS number on Oct. 7. First call was this a-clown claiming to be Scott Freeman about some check fraud b.s. and the second was from some Lisa Hoffman claining the same crap and saying I had 48 hours to respond since I didn't respond to their last round of BS calls a week before. Really people??? You must think I'm an idiot to fall for that garbage. Get a real job [***]!!!

They are full of crap. They use the ruse of being process servers for the county you live in and say they are bringing documents for you to sign to either your home or job. I was served papers once by my ex-wife for a child support hearing and trust and believe, the real process servers NEVER CALL before they show up at your door. They just show up, serve you and they are gone. It's a BS scam. Plain and simple.

Lisa Hoffman legal assistant called saying I had 72 hrs  to call Scott freeman.back before they file felony fraud charges both civil and criminal against my Name and ssn in my county Court system and left 6782125484 to Return call. Lastly they said good good luck....

I got two call from Sarah Bennett leaving a message says she a process server on behalf Harris county to call Scott Freeman. Its on a old payday loan from Ace Check Cashing. They said will file felony fraud civil and criminal charges (theft of services) on me. I told him I would see him in court.

they said they would incarcerate me for the weekend i went ahead and gave them my credit card info.

Called and said was going to file felony charges on my son if he didnt contact in 48 hours.  Had a case number old address and last 4 of social

I work at a furniture store, this person has called almost every week. The lady on the phone said they were looking for one of our employees and she had papers to serve them. told her our employees are not allowed personal phone calls then she got rude with me. Telling me they are allowed to call whenever they want. Asked her again not to call (this would be like 10 times with just me and we have multiple phone operators. I then asked for the name of the company, she would not give me this info just told me to have him call her back. she said to call scott freeman. No other info.

THEY ALSO SAY THEY WANT TO GET YOUR CONSENT ON THE MATTER..PAUSE, SINCE WHEN DID THE GOVERNMENT DECIDE THEY WANT TO BECOME BFF'S... THEY ONLY HAVE OLD ADDRESSES AND WHAT REALLY STANDS OUT IS THAT THE COUNTY HAS YOUR RECENT ADDRESSES SO WHY DON'T THEY. (VEHICLE REGISTRATIONS, PAYING WATER BILL SO ON..) SCAM SCAM SCAM.. I TOOK OUT 2 HOURS TO HARASS THEM BACK AND CALLED THEM NON-STOP, VERY CHILDISH BUT HEY....NEVER EVER GIVE YOUR INFO OVER THE PHONE ESPECIALLY CREDIT CARDS...

ALSO REMEMBER THAT IF YOU GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD YOU NEED TO IMMEDIATELY CLOSE THAT ACCOUNT AND REPORT IT AS FRAUD WITH YOUR BANK. THEY SOMEHOW HAVE LAST 4 OF YOUR SOCIAL AND NOW ACCOUNT INFO, WHICH CAN PUT YOU IN A WHOLE LOT OF ISSUES. BE CAREFUL GUYS...

Not sure if they should be using the S. Office like that. They may be violating law. Especially if the are fruadulent.

I wouldn't afraid of them. They can't arrest you and if anything they are breaking laws.

Answered call before I looked at phone to see it was from GA.  Young man called and asked to speak with Skye Rolly(?)
Told him he had the wrong number and to remove it from his call list.  He asked if I was family or friends with a Skye Rolly.  Name sounds made up to me but after I told him I have never heard that name before he said thank you and hung up???
