What the heck is a pre-legal file? First sign that something us not right. Any civil action filed against a person would be handled through a court of law...These people are scam artist trying to get your hard earned money. Jerks!

These people make an attempt to call family making it sound like something has happen to you.

Missed call, voicemail left:

"This is Nations Recovery Center. This is a call from a debt collector. Please call 1-800-935-1139, extension 3012."

I don't have any outstanding debts, so not sure to whom this call is directed.

Reason....I caught them lying. They asked me was he in the USA active or retired Military...Then when I asked did he know what this was about...they thought I asked what was this about and began to inform me about MY "state laws" Lady...seriously? You don't know where I live....c'monnnn man!

The rep who is handling my account is very rude. His name is Kevin Baker. I made arrangements with him and now he wants to change those arrangements and requesting more money and a lum sum. When I explained to him this not possible, I don't have it and can't afford to increase my payment. He threaten to garnish my wages. I truied to work with him and he refuses. If you don't have don't deal with this company. Something is just not right about it. j

no One Can GARNISH Waqes Unless they Serve you with a Court Notice.Then you need to go to court and then they can garniish if you have not been served a lawsuit they can not garnish call thier bluff. Best thing to do is get a call blocker app and never ever pick up. if they cant reach you they got the mail aqnd thats it. the minute you respond you they got you. So never ever let them speak to you.Also set up and ein or corporation put your money in a busines account and its protected so if they ever did go after you they get nothing! There is nothing by law they can do to you. They get paid a commission when you send them money. All these companies sell people they cant reach to the next company and it goes on and on. So if you block them and they can never reach you they are screwed. Only ever worry if you get served a court notice. When that happens they have to know its you so if you answer your door and thay say your name say WHOS THAT and get out your cell phone and record it on video. Say that name doesnt live here. They have to prove its you to serve you. So never answer to your name say whos that its not me.

They've called me at least three or four times.  Why can't the Atlanta attorney general do something to put these losers out of business or slap them with a hefty fine.

Your best bet is to report them to the Georgia Department of Consumer Affairs and the Federal Trade Commission. If you report them to the Georgia AG's office, they will turn around and tell you to do the same. Been there, done that with another scofflaw outfit.

Keeps calling me from multiple phone numbers and finally i answered to yell at them to halt their harassing phone calls, and they said that there is a very important matter that I NEED to address by TODAY and insisted that I call them back by their 18:00 closing time and gave me the extension 2177 to get him directly...I do not have any current debts that are overdue, and the debts that I have had are much older than 7 years old and are no longer collectible debts.

I just got an odd call from 678-248-0006. They asked to speak to someone whose name I have never heard before. I told them that. They asked to speak to the HR department to verify employment for that person. I told them I don't have an HR department. They called my home phone.

called trying to tell me that they have a warrant out for my arrest and they will stop at nothing to get there money. called from 678-248-0006. they ask for a person by name like they know you. very unprofessional. nvere identifies name of company or the nature of the call.
atlanta georgia- changes the last 3 digits during the day to throw a person off.

This man name Sylvester, (I didn't catch his last name), called me from this number.  He called my cell phone and my work phone.  Is this even legal for a debt collector to call your place of employment?

Received two calls from this number.  First call I ignored.  Called again within 30min.  I answered and they asked to speak with a "Marian" and last name that is the same as mine.  Told them there is no Marian living here and the caller then asked if it might be "Maureen".  I had to stop her because it seemed like she was ready to throw out a bunch of names starting with M.  So I told here there is nobody living (nor ever have lived) here with a name that even started with the letter M.  Calls stopped after that.

Some chump colection agency that works for bottom dwellers that buy charged off old debt for like pennies on the dollar, and look to collect the full bil.. They are bluffers, send them their walking papers!

They called my cell phone this afternoon as I was driving, so let it go to voicemail. I usually don't answer calls I don't recognize! But I decided to check the message after I got home and they claim there is a judgement against me, funny it doesn't show up on my credit report. They left a number I should call to work it out what I am supposed to owe. FORGET IT, I AM NOT CALLING TO WORK SOMETHING OUT!!!
