Just called and claimed to be conducting a survery for NBC or something like that.  Basically they wanted to know who in our household celebrated the most recent birthday.  I smelled scam and told them I wasn't interested in giving them any private information...such as who lives here by looking up birthday infor

This number has called 3 times in the last two days. My caller id says that it is "out of area" and only  gives the last seven numbers. I called the number back with a 678 area cod..e (678 is Atlanta area where I live). I called the number and their answering system says that it is Venture Data and that their website is www.venturedata.com.  I smell a rat. They tried to call enough to think that they are looking for personal information or it some kind of scam.  
I bought a house phone that I can program numbers in that I want blocked a few years ago. It works better then having Bellsouth block a call. It saves on major headaches.

2 calls in 1 hour. The first came from this number the second came in as a 'restricted'. I usually don't answer those, but I've had things going on that required it. The first caller was a male asking to take a 'Utility Survey'. He wanted to speak with the person in the householf that paid the bills. I made like I was a babysitter, but the caller kept asking - when will they be home and can we call back later?". just didn't sound right. The second caller was a female, asking again to take a Utility survey but this time asking for the registered female voter in the house. I told her that I was neither as she ws all doubtful "you mean you 're not a registered voter" - " I'm the babysitter, I don't live here". She, also pressed to call back later. Stinks like Scam.

Call came in from 678-381-1677, telling me they were calling about a survey for some thing, I told them
I do not accept calls on my cell and hung up. Even with the cell phone on Do-Not-Call list, apparently
this means nothing to them.

Just filed a complaint with the BBB of Utah, for Venture Data.

Call came in from Lilburn, georgia.  They wanted to know if anyone inhte house was old enough to vote.  I hung up.

Rec'd calls weekly from this number, no messages left.

They won't stop or haven't for the past several weeks now.  We haven't taken the first call from them, but that doesn't work either they just keep on.  I'm so tried of these issues with the telephone calls.

Three more calls today between 400PM and 700 PM.  Is there a way to stop them?  We don't answer but it's such an invasion!

Just received a call asking to take a survey on Anthem BC/BC. As a healthcare professional I  took the survey

Said they were from some research company... I think the woman's name was Rachel (sounds like the scam with the credit card rate lowering thing)  I said I was busy and hung up.

They've been calling and calling, the company is Venture Data Telephone Research.  If you google the company and go to their website, there is a do not call box that you can enter your telephone number in so they won't bother the ever living Hades out of you anymore.  Hope that helps!

Called twice today . Caller Id says 8012149297 but phone number is 678-381-1677.

They've been calling for the past two days. I'll get either the telephone number or a "blocked" notification. The girl wanted to know what political party I vote for, and then she hung up.

The venture company that contacted me is not located in Utah. They have an Atlanta phone number. I've previously reported a company/scam also referred to as Venture to my bank. I recd several emails stating that I had reset my password....of which I had no such account. After some research it appeared it was a mass transit card used in Chicago that is linked to bank accounts. After turning it over to my bank, I haven't recd any more of the emails, but am wondering if this call was linked to the same scam.

678-381-1776 Called my cell this morning. I never answer "Unknown" #s. Always Google to research. 99.95% of these calls are scams to get your personal i.d. I add these "Crap Calls" to my address book then "block" them by adding them to my Blacklist program called "Call Blocker". Blocks any #s I add plus "Unknown" #s which do no show any ph #s. Do Not Call list doesn't work. But report these #s to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and your state's Attorney General's office. The BBB can be used, but has no effect, so a waste of time.
